This is a great trip if you enjoy getting outside for short walks and hikes. Fortunately the weather was great - sunny but cold just like you would expect in January. The scenery is spectacular. There are several stops for waterfalls, a walk to a glacier, a stop at a black sand beach and the turn around point at Vik where we stopped for a lunch break. Vik is a quaint but very small town and I only found one place where food was available. I recommend bringing your own snacks and water/beverage. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and the driver friendly and a good driver.
i booked alot of tours... this one was my favorite, we got to walk behind a waterfall, saw the glacier went to the beach . the scenery was just amazing
The trip was well organised and visited a number of interesting sites. The guide was informative and helpful. A good day out.
Great tour, best of the trip. We had a wonderful guide that really made the experience! I would definitely recommend!
The Black beach is absolutely marvelous! The waterfall are magnificent.
We loved the South Coast Tour!!!! Much cooler than the Golden Circle Tour. Our guide, Harold, was very informative and enthusiastic!
SO GREAT. Saw so many beautiful landscapes. Make sure to wear waterproof EVERYTHING! You'll 100 get wet at the waterfalls--and it's worth it! The tour guide was hilarious and easy to talk to, and he made sure we were safe and knew when the tides were coming in, where not to step/go. He helped us across an icy bit near the glacier!
Side note: If you're going to Iceland DONT FLY WOW AIR. The flights are cheap, but they charge extra for every piece of baggage- YES, even that carry on you thought was free!

Beautiful tour. Wonderful tour guide. Best for first day of touring. Very relaxing.
This tour was the highlight of my trip. Our tour guide, Iris, from Bustravel Iceland was friendly and very personable. She provided us with knowledgeable information as well as personal stories of growing up in Iceland. Our bus driver was great driving us safely through snow, rain and fog. This is a must tour for anyone trying to decide which to take.
Amazing tour ou southern Iceland, our tour guide was just excellent, really interesting and full of knowledge about this wonderful country
This tour was perfect for our brief stopover in Iceland. Our guide was so friendly and provided us with so much fun information about the island, the way of life, the volcanoes, the land, etc. Please take advantage of all the knowledge that your guide has - I went into this not giving much thought and walked away with several notes of things to look more into. It was like an interesting day in school, and I mean that in the most positive of ways. We had one comfort stop bathroom and snack stop on the morning part of the drive. A good amount of sight-seeing time was given at all 4 scenic stops. I recommend sturdy walking shoes, if not boots, as the terrain is rocky and often wet. Also, use the restroom/bathroom/toilet when you stop, as they don't make random pit stops. There are facilities at all 4 locations but they are small and other tours are in effect.
Excellent day trip, lot of sights covered with knowlegable and friendly tour guide.
Southern Iceland is a place to visit. Powerful waterfalls, glacier, black beaches, interesting lava formations. So much to see and experience within the limited time.
another MUST tour for everyone. the locations covered were just breathtaking!!! from justin beiber's music video locations to black sand beach! it was WOW...a must tour for everyone!!!
This tour is a must! It showcases the extent of the diverse magical landscapes of Iceland. I went on this tour in January and the weather on the beach was very windy and cold so I would advise travelers to wrap up warm and with sturdy footwear because it can also be icy underfoot close to the waterfalls. Also listen to the tour guide. They provide not only safety information but also information about how the land came to be, how Icelandic people interpreted these events back in the day and old Icelandic myths.
If you're planning a short visit to Iceland but still want to see as much of the country as you can, this is the tour for you. They offer to pick you up and drop you off at your hotel or at the closest one to where you're staying. Our guide was both entertaining and knowledgeable. They only give you a short amount of time to see each site so if that bothers you, you might want to look for a different tour or rent a car and drive yourself. If you're interested in seeing as much as you can, then give this one a shot. We had a great time and I'd highly recommend it.
This was a great tour and not to be missed. Our tour guide was very very much well informed and knows the country well. He was very helpful, very considerate and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I forgot his name at this particular time... When I remember, I'll go back to edit, hope I can do that. Thanks - - Boston, MA.
Excellent day out. Knowledgable guide, well managed giving plenty of time to visit sites.
Awesome tour and opportunity to see the highlights of Iceland. The tour leader was super informative and really provided great commentary on all the sites. Excellent experience.
A full day of beautiful sights-totally worth it! Our guide Reynis was great-very friendly and informative. You definitely need rain gear-full waterproof coat and pants because the first waterfall will soak you and you don't want to miss getting up close and walking behind it.
This tour had some amazing sights! A week before my tour I was worried about the weather, because it was forecasted to rain all day. Luckily, with the weather changing constantly in Iceland, it ended up not raining at all that day. The pick up from my guesthouse was no hassle at all. It is expected that you may have to wait 25-30min for your shuttle, so keep that in mind. The tour guide was very sweet and knowledgeable. Since I went in November, we were chasing daylight. And because of that, I wished we spent a little more time at each location. Nonetheless, it was a great tour with beautiful sights from the drives to the locations itself.
Tour guide was incredibly informative and entertaining and the time spent at each destination was perfect jump out, grab some pictures and off to the next one. I would highly recommend!
