    What To Expect

    Make your way to Corcovado Train Station. On arrival, your eyes are drawn to the summit of Corcovado, from which one of the New7Wonders of the World, the Christ the Redeemer statue (Cristo Redentor), reigns supreme over the city.

    With your skip-the-line ticket in hand, hop on-board the next available train to the summit of Corcovado and relax during the short journey to the statue’s 2,300-foot (710-meter) perch. Trains depart regularly.

    On arrival at the top, enjoy magnificent views of Rio de Janeiro’s iconic Copacabana and Ipanema Beaches, and pose for photographs beneath the outstretched arms of the statue. Opt for an off-peak time slot if you’d prefer less people in your pictures.

    Your return ticket is valid on any train until closing, so feel free to spend as much time as you like at Christ the Redeemer (Cristo Redentor).

      Rio - The Statue

      It was a seamless process, however, I still do not understand the value added from the Tour Company. It says “Skip The Line” but there was no line to skip. Once you got the train ticket you could walk straight to the train, then once at the Statue, there was no line to be skipped, hence the question, what’s the value added from the Tour company?

      I went on Friday around 11am on May 5th. The line to go up was nothing & with the very few people that were in line, they brought us up to the front. We waited about 5 minutes to ride the train up. It was pretty busy when we got there, but we stayed for about an hour & went down. Waited about 10 minutes for the train to come

      If you choose Aviator, you will have a preferential attention at the entrance.

      Really loved the experience of seeing this wonder of the world. The views are especially breathtaking. A one of a kind experience indeed.
      Not sure if it’s even worth it

      This is a must see as world heritage site but the fast pass is a bit of a bait and switch. Unlike the Sugar Loaf fast pass, it only works going up, there is no fast pass lane coming down so you’re essentially at the mercy of the line when you’re stuck at the top. Ended up taking over 90 mins waiting to come back down and was really late for lunch plans.

      Worth every penny

      Definitely worth it. In the heat and with so many people it is a reluef to skip all the lines and get to the top of corcovado. Without the fast pass it is easily 3 to 4 hrs before reaching the top. With the fast pass we were up and done completely in 1.5 hrs. Even the guide was jumping with joy when he realized that not only did I have skip the lines but that I accidentally had bought extra tickets so he could go up quick too and not to stay in line to buy tickets

      This was not worth the money. We picked skip the line and they let us skip line which was short going up but we had to wait in line which was very long for the train down. It was not worth the extra money we paid!
      Flexibility and a bit of time saved

      I really recommend buying this ticket: it’s only 10€ more than the regular price, and it brings much more flexibility. The day we had chosen to visit the Christ was super cloudy, so thanks to this ticket we postponed to the next day and we could see it perfectly. The skip the line worked too, even though the organization there was disastrous (you don’t know in which queue you need to go etc), and without the skip the line, the waiting time was not so much longer even if there’s a lot of people (because there are a lot of trains running) Be careful that the skip the line only works for the way up, not down In summary, I really recommend for the flexibility to change date, and the skip the line is a nice to have but not a must

      The train ride was quick and there are beautiful views on the ride. Christ the Redeemer is a breathtaking world wonder. I highly recommend this trip. No complaints at all!

      We did skip the line and it was quick, however, it is a little confusing and overwhelming when you arrive. Go to the ticket counter and exchange your voucher for tickets. They give you your tickets and a wrist band. The wrist band is the key. We walked through the crowds and someone came up and took us to the front of the line. The front of the line is for going up only not back down. Great experience.

      Make sure you keep asking employees where the priority line is. It's not obvious. It's worth every penny. Ignore the hoards of people wanting to "help" you as you arrive.

      Really smooth and fast

      I arrived by Uber at 8:52 and was in the train to the statue at 9. Very fast and easy. I just showed the voucher to the guard, he sent me to one on the ticket offices, received the voucher and boarded the train. At my return, I showed the bracelet I received and boarded first train that arrived. I recommend in order to avoid all waiting lines.

      Highly recommend this ticket/event. If I didn’t purchase this for my fiancé and I, I think we’d still be queuing. The train was fun with some idyllic views on the way up surrounded by a forest. Just make sure to speak to a member of staff about your ticket to ensure you skip the queue both while picking up the ticket and before queuing for the train.

      The beginning is nice to skip the line and board the train. When finished up top, they don’t do skip the line and that line was longer than the arrival line. So doesn’t help that much.
