We had a full and enjoyable day out of Tijuca and Ben did an excellent job he was extremely keen to fit around our interests and what we wanted to see. Some of the walking was tough going but definitely worth it!
Our tour guide was great. He had many interesting facts about the forest that I don't think we would have experienced in a traditional tour. This private tour was more like a guided hike through the forest, and it was interesting to hear about the forest as we walked along different paths. It was definitely not something we would have tried alone, and our tour guide was very welcoming and made sure our tour was everything we wanted it to be.
It was a nice walk through Tijuca park. unfortunately there was no wildlife for photos which made the walk somewhat boring. I think the price is too high for what you get out of it. I would not recommend it to anyone else based on my experience. The guide Marcia was outstanding!
