his was an incredibly well organized tour. So many things crammed into 2 days. Time allocation for each area was perfectly designed. Our tour guide Sasha was outstanding! Would highly recommend using I Love Rome tours for this adventure, you can't lose.
The two days with Carrani tours was just wonderful.
Extremely well organized and a very smooth sail.
The way they manage with people who have one, two , three or more days trips is just amazing.
The one negative comment was the lunch on the first day: very poor. because it was so poor we ate lunch on the second day before the lunch that was included with the tour.
To our amazement, this lunch, in Anna Capri was just wonderful.
The hotel in Sorento, Imperial Hotel Tramontano was just amazing. yes, we paid a bit extra but we deffinitly got our money worth, an incredible beautiful hotel, the food, the room, just everything.
No comment about Pompeii, Capri, Sorrento: these were our choices, just beautiful and powerful.
We highly recommend this trip, it was just wonderful, Thanks
Excellent tour - fascinating Pompeii, charming Sorrento, picturesque Capri and must-see Blue Grotto. We had 5 tour guides for this tour and 4 were great - the 5th not so much. The only duty of the 5th guide was to escort us on the bus from Pompeii at the end of the 1st day and give us information to get us ready for day 2. She was to hand out an information sheet about the night's hotel, meal times, baggage handling directions, pick-up time at the hotel for the day 2 tour and her contact phone number.. Unfortunately, she didn't have handouts for a few in our tour group, including us, and said that she would deliver the information later. The guide could have simply called the hotel and left a message for us with the details, but failed to do so. We were able to get most of the information from the hotel staff - all except for the pick-up time for the day 2 tour and the guide's phone number. As a result, we were tied to the hotel on the morning of the second day, due to not knowing when the pick-up time was, instead of having 2 hours of free time to explore Sorrento, This incident was the only blot on a perfect tour.
We were so happy to be able to see Blue Grotto. The scenery of Capri and Sorrento was picturesque.
Amazing experience, the trip was awesome!! great hotel and great locations.
Our leader guide Valentina and local guide Simona in Capri were outstanding.
A super action packed tour which was well organised. The coaches were lovely and clean, the only suggestion is the Sorrento hotel we stayed had an awesome view but the food was very dated and average. The pool, was amazing and enormous. Capri and Anacapri were my favourite places especially with our tour guide and we had the opportunity for free time and the restaurant was terrific there. The only minor annoying thing was changing coaches and therefore the luggage had to change buses at Pompeii stop. Would recommend to others
Guides are friendly and helpful. Also, people in the same group are lovely. We really had a great time during our visit. Capri is really wonderful place for relaxing even there is a lot of visitors.
Our trip was amazing... do mostly in part to the fact that our tour guides were well prepared and had all the timing down perfectly. Our trip to Naples was Great but lunch did not include The Famous Pizza and I think that it should have. Pompeii was so incredible our guide was very knowledgeable. Incredible sights! Sorrento was definitely our favourite part of this trip. we will definitely Return there again on our own. Shopping was great and hotel was in great location. Beautiful. Breakfast was a bit boring but...oh well.. Capri was awesome but the giant boat ride made us queasy...get drama mine! Blue grotto was closed and that was a bummer but we understand its safety. Shopping stop was 20 minutes and far too expensive. Would gave rather gone to beach. Overall....excellent! Don't bring any bags if you can help it.. backpack only. Don't leave luggage on bus..one guy had his lost!
We had different tour guides but all of them are good. Simon for Capri, Vittorio for Pompeii, and Joie in Sorrento. All of them took good care of us and their instructions and narrations were crystal clear. Too bad we weren't able to see the Blue Grotto due to water was choppy. Hotel Tramontano in Sorrento was a good choice. Breakfast with a great view of Mt. Vesuvius and the staff are well-trained and kind. This tour is highly recommended specially for people who doesn't have the time to research where to go, what to do, and afraid to go around places.
Didn't get to Capri. Was extra, which I didn't know. But the tour is worth it. Sorrento is beautiful. The hotel accommodations were great there. The Pompeii tour is a bit long for a non-archeologist. Everything was seamless. Pickup and drop offs.
Great tour. You get to see a lot in 2 days. You don't spend much time in Naples but Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri are amazing. We even drove up to Anacapri, the drive was a little scary but worth it!
Fantastic experience. The sorrento Hotel which. Was the more expensive choice was amasing. The included dinner was 5 star

Excellent, but I really wish I had the opportunity to do this trip in three or, better yet, four days. There was so much to see. We loved the trip. It incorporated the boat ride as well as the shuttle to the Isle of Capri. We spent plenty of time at Pompeii and had a motivator guide. Naples was beautiful but we did not have the chance to spend as much time as we would have liked, which was also the case with charming Sorrento. Our hotel and dinner were outstanding. Just do it justice by giving it more time if possible.
My wife and I had a great time on this tour. Our walking guide at Pompeii was very knowledgeable. The highlight of this tour was Sorrento and Capri. We got the upgrade room package for this trip and our Hotel was amazing!! It was a huge room with a balcony overlooking the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. It was an amazing view to wake up to. Our tour guide for Capri, Sasha, was great. We weren't able to go to the Blue Grotto because the seas were too rough, but the boat ride we took instead around the other side of the island was great. Got some great photos of Faraglioni di Capri on it. I would highly recommend this tour!!
Tour was well organised. Good value for money. Great tour guides.Interesting and Beautiful locations. Hotel in Sorrento very good
This tour started out really well with a prompt hotel pickup. The bus was comfortable and the guide was knowledgable. We stopped in Naples for lunch. This for us was the only low light of the two days. We felt the food was awful. From there we went to Pompeii. Our guide a Wilma was amazing. She was so knowledgable about this unbelievable place. This site is defiantly worth a visit. We then travelled on to Sorrento. We were pleased we paid a little extra for our hotel. It was wonderful. Situated overlooking the sea and close to night markets it was a perfect location. The dinner was one of the best meals we have ever eaten. The next day after a leisurely tasty breakfast we caught a ferry to Capri. Here we visited Capri and Annacapri. They are both beautiful quaint villages although a little crowded. The lunch at Annacapri was lovely. We were glad the Blue a Grotto was open. We were pleased we didn't have the 3 hour wait the morning people experienced. After this we caught a ferry to Naples and a bus back to Rome. We were dropped back at our hotel. It was a fantastic two days.
it was terrific , everything was well organized , even the hotel in Sorrento was great with breath taking view, except one thing the food in capri , I found a cockroach in my spaghetti plate and I told the tour guide and she didn't say a word even she didn't bring me another plate and as well the waiters , but every thing other than this was perfect.
My husband and I booked an 8 day stay in Rome. While we had plenty we wanted to see in Rome, we also wanted to see other parts of Italy. I was all set to book a one day tour to Pompeii and a separate one day tour to Capri when I found this tour. I was hesitant to book because I read a lot of reviews about people being annoyed about changing buses and wasted time. After our trip, I have to say that changing buses didn't bother us and during down time we sat in a cafe and sipped cappuccino. So, I guess it depends how much you are willing to go with the flow. We enjoyed our tour of Pompeii, but our stay in Sorrento was our favorite. Even without the upgrade option, we so enjoyed our hotel. It had beautiful views of the bay and Mt. Vesuvius that we enjoyed while eating dinner. Only down side was that I couldn't use my hair straightener due to a voltage difference at the hotel. Our day in Capri was AMAZING. We did some shopping in the morning and the blue grottos in the afternoon. One couple didn't want to do the shopping, so they asked if they could go swimming at the nearby beach. The tour guide was okay with this, but asked if they would meet back with the group after the shopping. So, if you are not into shopping, there are ways around it. Overall the trip was fun, informative, and romantic!! Totally worth it. Plus, we had a great tour guide named Carlos. He made the trip really easy to understand and fun. Do yourself a favor and book this tour!
Loved it!! The sights were fantastic. All guides were pleasant and professional with the exception of the Pompeii guide. She seemed unenthusiastic, as if she would have preferred to have been anywhere else other than where she was.
Smooth and well coordinated tour in Italy. We skipped lines and made traveling around this area so much easier. Food and lodging was pretty good too and guides were friendly the entire time. I would recommend doing this trip if you are trying to see many things within a short period of time.
