Incredible! 100 recommend this tour - every part of it was organised and structured. Swapping the bus after Pompeii was the only downside, but that took 10 mins and they organised it well. We loved Sorrento and Capri and would visit again if we could! Loved this.

Was an amazing tour for my family of 5. Well run, great tour guides and EXCEPTIONAL hotel, which was the Tramontano in Sorrento. The restaurant was world class and the restaurant staff were absolutely the best there is. Capri was absolutely breathtaking and Sorrento was simply the quaintest town we've visited with lots of nice shopping. Naples was a rather quick stop. Pompeii was amazing to see and hear about on our two hour walking tour. A lot of history there. It's been very hot while we've been here, but very enjoyable nonetheless.

I was very glad I took this side tour from Rome. Considering all that was included, the price was very reasonable. The bus drive down was not especially scenically spectacular other than the view of the Monastery at Monte Cassino. A superhighway in Italy isn't that different from one in the US. The spot selected for lunch was quite nice, the food was good and there were good clean facilities. The tour of Naples showed how beautiful the area by the sea is here. I found out later that the museum in Naples has a lot of Pompeii and Herculaneum artifacts. It would have been nice if that could have been included. Our Pompeii tour guide was very good and went at a reasonable pace for me at least. I hadn't realized how much of the site is still an active dig so a lot is not available to view. We saw examples of the businesses, houses and baths that the residents would have used which were very interesting. There is so much more of the town layout to see that you really need to visit here to get a concept of what Rome would have been like. I stayed in a hotel in Sorrento that had a breathtaking view and excellent meals. I enjoyed the trip to Capri and the Blue Grotto, but it was a bit too much of an expensive shopping opportunity. I took in the views instead. The only thing that disappointed me was that I thought a tour along the Amalfi coast was included rather than an extra. I spent the third day sitting on my hotel terrace catching up on my diary and having lunch by the pool. That was fine, too. Overall, this was an excellent experience.

I wanted a quick getaway from Rome and this tour fit the bill. It was very well organized, and the hotel in Sorrento was lovely, no need to upgrade. The scenery was gorgeous of course, and all the guides but one which I'll discuss in a moment were helpful and cheerful.
I was disappointed in the guide to Pompeii. She was hard to hear and understand and didn't seem to care at all. I asked her several questions and the answers were brusque at best. It was a shame, I wanted to learn about Pompeii and she was ..... A hindrance to put it politely. Still, the whole tour itself carrani was a good value and well done. I'd book something like this again.

Excellent tour. Hotel and room were great. Staff at Grand Hotel Vesuvio was very helpful. Food at the hotel was excellent. View from hotel balcony of the blue water and Mt. Vesuvio was the best. The hotel certainly was better than expected. Only down side was it was a little further away from city center, but we did not mind. Naples part of the tour is a waste of time.

This was a fantastic trip. Simone, the guide of Capri, took good care of us and we even got into the Blue Grotto. We had to arrange our own private van tour of the Amalfi Coast which we loved. This was reasonable when arranged by the Sorrento guide.

This trip was so great, hotel they put us was so close to the center of town and the food - dinner and breakfast was good. Very friendly people. We took the city bus and visited the Amalfi coast. I recommend this tour.

A little chaotic with so many transfers into different buses for a single trip.
The only standout is the hotel and meals in Sorrento
Capri trip is good also

This bus trip was the best! Our primary guide Sasha really made our trip fun and we learned a lot along the way. My partner and I were really impressed with his knowledge and ability to make us all feel like one big family.

We were picked up at our hotel in a van and taken to the bus at the meeting point. Bus ride to Naples etc was excellant driver and guide very good. Naples was just a twenty minute stop at the harbour which by all accounts about Naples was just right ! Not a nice place according to guides and Romans.
Pompeii was excellant - the ruins are well worth the trip and with the guide Marco were even better. Easily could spend another full day there - another trip perhaps.
Our hotel in Sorrento was fantastic Imperial Tramontano. Well beyond our expectations. Room and meals were top drawer. Very classy place. Day trip to Capri again excellent - with the guide every detail and highlight was looked after for us. Great day.
Return to Rome was right on time with our pick up and drop off at our hotel in Rome.
Thanks for three outstanding days.

Great tour, with good transfers and well organized. We choose the pricey option because it was our treat for our 30th Wedding Anniversary trip to Italy. We got the Tramontano hotel in Sorrento with water views, just beautiful and central. The food was fantastic. We were lucky and able to see the Blue Grotto, rode to the top of Anacapri don't stay there too long and had a great time in Pompeii. If you don't have much time or a car this is the way to go. Rented a car that took us south, so much fun and so beautiful. Hope to go back!

5 stars only for the Sorrento and Capri portions of the trip. Naples is advertised in the heading but it is little more than a 15 minute stop at the Bay of Naples, or less if the cops run you off like they did us. Pompeii was a disaster. We had to pick up a group of German's who had been shut out of their tour of Capri. So we had one tour guide trying to do a tour in German, English and Spanish. We saw very little of Pompeii due to the lengthy stops for the guide to give her spiel in three languages. Now the good part, Sorrento and Capri. If you take this tour, spring for the 4 Star Superior Hotel Ambasciatori and ask for an ocean view room, you will not be disappointed. Our room was great, the view was nothing short of spectacular, and the staff was excellent. The food at the restaurant was also very fresh and very good. The hotel grounds are amazing. Sorrento was a fun place to explore and shop. Capri was also nice. Be sure to take the lift to the top for great panoramic views.

This was an excellent experience. My suggestion is that for the 3rd day you should give a choice at the out set to go to Amalfi coast with transport arranged through you or independently. We did go through your local agent to find a car.

This was probably the best thing we did on our trip to Italy. The stop in Naples was REALLY quick, like 10 minutes so they shouldn't even highlight it in the package. The hotel in Sorrento was beautiful. The trip to Capri was awesome and we got to go into the Blue Grotto which is rare I hear since it's always closed. We rented a scooter and rode to Amalfi. A must do if your'e up for it.

Wonderful trip, had to get used to the crowds. Transportation and accommodations were outstanding. Our guide in Pompeii was not engaging and lost us on the way. Our guide in Capri was wonderful. We enjoyed every aspect of the trip and would highly recommend it.

This was truly a highlight of our trip to Italy. The hotel in Sorrento was outstanding with wonderful food. The tour guides were great. We loved the Blue Grotto in Capri. Pompeii was very interesting. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone. It was worth every penny we paid for it.

My daughter and I took this tour together. Most of the tour was great - some not so good. The trip to Naples and Pompeii was separate to the trip to Sorrento and Capri as after visiting Pompeii, those staying over in Sorrento were placed on another bus. Our tour guide to Naples / Pompeii lacked enthusiasm and she spent a great deal of the bus trip talking in Italian to the bus driver very annoying. In Naples, we collected our tour guide for Pompeii - an older woman by the name of Wilma. After lunch in a restaurant at the Pompeii site this was quite good - we were left with Wilma to show us through Pompeii. We had been looking forward to visiting Pompeii and Wilma thoroughly ruined this experience for us. She shuffled along slowly, mumbling away - it is was impossible to hear or understand her. She spoke a lot about the weather I think and quite a few of us became so fed up, we took our head set earpieces out so we didn't have to listen to her. This is the worst tour we have ever been on! Also on this whole tour both guides spoke in a second language, along with English. So distracting and time consuming. Tours should be in one language only! The trip turned for the better when we left these guides behind and went on the second bus to Sorrento. If you take this trip, my recommendation is take the 4 star hotel - it was magnificent and dinner and breakfast was superb. Our trip to Capri was very nice and our guide was very good. When in Capri, I recommend you take the chair lift up to the top - the views are glorious and you can look down over the local houses, yards and gardens on the way up. The trip to the blue grotto is ok - you are only in there for a short while, but it's another experience. All in all I can highly recommend this tour - except for the Pompeii experience unfortunately!
