Great Tour Guide and Driver that made the experience one of the highlights for the visit to Italy!

This is tour is excellent. Antoinette our host was fantastic and Stefan our driver negotiated the curves of the coast road with experience. We stopped often for photo ops and coffee breaks. Pompeii was brilliant and the tour guide Hector was amusing and knowlegable. Many of the shops were closed at this time of the year which was a bit disappointing. We had a lovely lunch on the beach at Positano and saw an amazing sunset on the last leg of the coast road. Picked up and dropped off at our hotel door. Great day.

An exceptionally good tour, I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants to see Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. There were 2 of us on the tour with a guide and mini bus driver. The guide's knowledge of the area, history, culture, etc was outstanding and she was very attentive, making sure that all our needs were catered for. The driver was also very good and we felt very safe as we went along the narrow winding roads.
We were met by a local guide at Pompeii and he was also excellent, we learnt a lot and the tour was very interesting. The trip along the coast was very good and again our guide made sure we got to see everything we wanted to see and were able to buy the souvenirs we wanted as well.
It was easily the best tour that we have ever been on, and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

Our guide in Pompeii was my favorite of the trip. She was on point, funny and had been a guide for many, many years, so she knew what we were interested in seeing. Her dad is also a guide and saw him on the trip. She was a blast and I learned so much! Getting ice cups outside the entrance is a must - best ever! This was my No.1 trip during our stay. The Amalfi tour guides were fun, easy going, and made us feel at home. The traffic and narrow roads would be an issue, but not for these guides. So fun, So Lighthearted and a dream. No.1 tour of our 5 tours in Italy.

We had a great time with our main guide and the driver. Positano was a blast and we would love to go back, the narrow streets and shops were amazing and the beach was beautiful. The drive along the coast was breath-taking, although Amalfi was not as interesting.

Our guide at Pompei was twice our age and twice as fast, we didn't have time to take pictures and keep up with him. But he was a local that lived in Pompei and his knowledge about the site was vast.

Our driver, Adam, was great at negotiating the ups, downs and narrow winding roads of the Amalfi Coast. Our guide, Valentina, was very charming, informative, and fun to be around. This option was great as it is more personal. We shared the tour with only one other couple, and we had a very nice time with them. The tour included several stops and the lunch location in Positano was great! If I had to say there was a downside, it was only the van itself. While very nice, the passenger seats face each other. It was great for conversation with the other couple, but not great for conversation with the guide as we were riding backwards. In addition to the conversation part, the riding backwards made it hard to see some of the sights, and unfortunately we did not take dramamine ahead of time, so some motion/car sickness did occur. SO, if you get a van that has that seating set up, be sure to take your dramamine. The person that got ill had never had motion or car sickness ever before, but with the steep inclines and winding roads overlooking steep cliffs, best be prepared. Taking that part away, the scenery is spectacular, and the trip was great!!

Completely worth it for the drive alone. If you're not planning to stay in Southern Italy, then this is the perfect way to see it in a day without the hassle/frustration of navigating through Italy traffic and windy roads. All of the tour guides were unbelievably knowledgeable, high-energy, and friendly. We learned so much and got a lot out of the day. It was great to start with the historical tour of Pompeii, and then relax a bit in the Amalfi area. Wear comfy shoes!

There are just not enough stars for this. This trip was totally out of this world. The driver Stephan, sorry if spelling wrong, and guide Valentina were totally awesome. Cheerful, friendly, patient, and extremely helpful.
This tour is a must, I would definitely go on this tour again.

Fantastic tour where we were picked up at our hotel in a comfortable minivan. There were 3 couples so a nice small group. Our driver handled the roads very well. Our guide was fabulous, I wish I wrote down her name, but she had a Phd. In human rights and was very knowledgeable in her history. It is a very long day but well worth it! Amazing scenery!! Pompeii is not to be missed. An older gentleman who is a specialist in the area took us through the ruins and hit all the highlights. We had to move somewhat quickly because this stop was on the way to the coast. Upon arriving in Positano we had a lovely lunch on the beach not included in the cost, delicious food. Unfortunately we didnt have much time to do any shopping or lingering because it is a long drive back to Rome. The roads are S curves so be sure to take Dramamine along if you are prone to motion sickness. Luckily everyone on our tour was fine! One of the highlights of our trip for sure, but it is a lot packed into one day. Picked up at our hotel at 645 am and dropped off about 8 at night.

This trip was the highlight of our vacation. Our guide, Valentina, was helpful and knowledgeable, and our driver was an expert on the busy, twisting roads. After spending the morning in Pompeii, we visited Positano and then Amalfi. My only regret is that we didn't have more time. It's possible to spend more than one day alone at Pompeii, and it would've been nice to have more time to walk around of the most beautiful places I've ever visited.
