Great tour!! A fun way to experience Rome! The bike ride was easy and if you got tired you can always turn on the electric assist to help you paddle!!

This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We biked all over Rome and ended up at the Colosseum with the night lights. There was a couple in wedding gear getting their picture taken. It was beautiful. Our guide took us to an ancient farmhouse where we had wine and homemade bread and cheese. I wish I had been in better shape. The electric bike and our wonderful guide and the awesome sights made this trip great.
This tour was the bomb! Many miles of back roads including the Appian Way traveled but with the ebike, it was easy to do! Great guidance given at the sites and overall we had a fabulous time.
Our guide Ambra was amazing. Set a pace that was both enjoyable and got the territory covered. I was very impressed with
the picture file she referenced at stops to highlight the history of the location. I wouldn't hesitate to refer to others....even wish
I could repeat the experience.
This was a fun trip and really different. The Ancient Appian Way was awesome, and for once we were not herded cattle. We were a comfortably small group. It was easy using the bikes, which were in excellent condition and nearly new. Our guide looked out for us. The Catacombs are a real must-see, as well.
This has been one of our highlights of Rome...a great way to see the backside of Rome, outside the busy touristy areas. We had an awesome guide that ensured our safety, spoke english, and made the 6 hour tour a lot of fun. We saw a few churches, arches, and acquaducts, and a lot of the country and beautiful roads, trails. The catacombs were also amazing. It was a whole new perspective of Rome.
The bikes were easy to use mountain bikes with battery assist that made uphill a breeze if you choose. They had a basket for a few pieces of gear and a camera. It was easy to get setup and head out.
Wed definitely do this tour again and recommend it to our friends.
These are awesome electric bicycles!!! Based on our success here, we tried another tour in Florence, and those bikes were junk. :
We enjoyed the catacombs no pictures allowed though, bummer, the Appian Way, and Lunch. All the roads lead to Rome!!!
Excellent and beautiful. Nice seeing a part of Rome that most don't go see. The electric power bike makes things a breeze. Definitely for someone that enjoys biking though. If you are a novice on a bike this isn't for you.
We had a great day with Eric. He was extremely knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable. We had a slight problem with our batteries needing a reset after our stop at the farm but Eric had us back on track in no time at all. The Catacombs was fascinating and our guide was very informative. I would highly recommend this tour to all but I think a moderate level of biking experience will make the tour much more enjoyable.
Santiago was the best guide ever to get on a bike...no kidding! Our group was all over the place with different skills and expectations, but he pulled us all together like a true professional and treated us like his weekend cycling group of friends...not an easy task for 6 hours. What a great way to see a part of Rome you can't see any other way...slow down and take it all in...your e-bike will do all the work! Of course I machoed out for one of the beautiful carbon fiber manual bikes hidden by the back wall. Loved the quality and feel or well-tuned equipment. Do it just to see the Appian Way and bump over the same stones that Roman soldiers sandals marched over...no kidding! Catacombs are interesting AND chilly...I brought my Pearl Izumi cycling jacket since I read another reviewer's tip...great idea. Also brought my cycling gloves which proved to be the envy of everyone else after the bumps and 6 hrs. You have a storage bag on the handlebars for any other small items and watter bottle cages. The farm stop was really interesting once you know the history of the area ...not to mention the wine and cheese which are another story in themselves. Do this tour and have stories for a lifetime.
This was an excellent tour and Jesse did a fantastic job! It's a wonderful way to see parts of Rome you would never see. Highly recommend this as a must do!!!
This is one of the most unique tours we did in Rome. Stefan was an amazing guide and the tour was not boring for a single minute of the 6 hours we spent together. The electric-assist bikes are a blessing and we didn't feel tired at all after cycling for about 4-4.5 hours. The cheese and wine lunch on a farm was very refreshing. I'd highly recommend this tour.
A great experience! Our tour guide, Erik, was full of personality, facts and knowledge! And the electric-assist bikes made the 'physical' nature of the tour very bearable. I would recommend this tour very highly.
This tour was great. It was the first time we have ridden an Ebike. We both loved how easy it was and how it was not too hard to peddle up the hills. The Appian way was a bit bumpy but the whole tour was we worth the effort. The farm visit was very good and the lady and daughter that were the hosts were very friendly and supplied beautiful cheese and wine. I would recommend this tour and would not hesitate doing the ride again.
What a wonderful way to see Rome and gain insight into its history. Loved the bikes and Elizabeta made sure we were safe at all time. Topped off by wine and cheese in a truly authentic farmhouse setting made for a fabulous experience all round.
This was one of my highlights of Rome, it was great getting out of the city for a few hours. The electric bikes were so easy to use and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and looked after the whole group. The bonus was the cheese and wine and the farm!
Do this tour!!! This was the best tour we did in Rome!!! It was incredible, beautiful scenery and so awe inspiring to be riding along the ancient Appian Way and then through the countryside with the Aquaducts in the background. Several stops along the way for rest breaks/photos and to check out the road and the Aquaducts up close. The catacombs stop was excellent as well, and a nice break from the heat! The bikes were easy to use and well maintained. The electric assist was so nice to have as it was SO hot the day we went. The shop staff were very professional and the guide was amazing, stopping along the way if anyone needed help. The stop at the farmhouse was lovely. We did the afternoon tour and the sun was setting on the ride back, which was an added bonus.
Very enjoyable afternoon spent riding through the countryside which is quiet compared to the traffic of the city. The catacombs were a good learning experience. Our leader was very knowledgeable about Rome and was good at keeping us together as we rode along the quiet roads and a few busy streets. If you are looking for a way of seeing a different area of Rome in a different way, this excursion you should consider.
Umbria was an excellent guide. We had a magical day biking the Appian Way and exploring the Roman countryside. We opted for carbon bikes not electric and enjoyed the challenging ride. The stop for wine and pecorino cheese was fantastic. We highly recommend this tour.
AMAZING TOUR!!! I really was concerned that I would have trouble keeping up with the group as I am not in the best shape and am 55 years old, but it truly was a fabulous experience. Our guide was awesome and the views spectacular. I highly recommend this tour. A memory my 18 year old granddaughter and I will cherish forever!
