What a wonderful tour. We started just down the road from the Colosseum and ended up in the centre of Rome at Piazza Navona and visited all of the sights in between. The Colosseum, Roman Forum, The Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and much more. Our guide, Raffaellea Etna, was an absolute delight with and extensive knowledge of Roman history. A bit of walking but nothing too strenuous and it went over time but that was a bonus. Highly recommended, especially first time Rome visitors.
This is a really great tour, but it is really hard to stay on schedule and see everything that is included when there are thousands of people competing for sidewalk space with you.
This was a wonderful tour and our tour guide was incredible. We loved him. He made the tour so interesting and was very passionate about his career. Please pass on our appreciation for his excellent work.
Really knowledgeable guide. A good way to see Rome without waiting in line.
The guide, Francesca, was very helpful and went out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful, funny, and informative tour. The only thing I would mention is that the Colosseum doesn't allow water to be taken in which would have been good to know before hand. There are sellers about who you can buy water from afterwards and there is a water spout in the Colosseum as well.
Very well handled, reasonably priced. We got all the needed information without it being too detailed or too basic.
Top notch! Our guide was knowledgeable and I would recommend this tour to others.

Good tour, Great Guide. Very knowledgeable. It was a bit long for my almost 70 year old legs but my daughter and her family loved it.
Highly informative! Without the guide we would have missed many valuable insights.
This tour was lead by Mariana of Enjoy Rome tours. She made touring of the Colosseum and Forum and the other parts of Rome interesting and fun with the extensive knowledge that she has of the history of the city of Rome.
Office address (meeting point) on Viator was not correct; the correct address is Via Tommaso Grossi 10. It was not that easy to find for the taxi driver. 3,5 hours walking was a lot, but very worthwhile. Renate from Russia was very good explaining and was very nice and attentive to the needs of all.
My entire family went on this tour together. I found the guide very knowledgeable although a bit more context might have been good. She showed us where Julius Caeser was assassinated but no background information about why. Perhaps a separate tour for history enthusiasts would be good concentrating on the forum. We certainly saw all the high spots with some reasonable explanation about what we were seeing. A lot of historical Rome was covered and it was an opportunity to get the feeling of the city as it went from several small farm towns meeting in the forum as a market, through the republic and empire, into the Christian Era, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and even the Baroque. I was happy to get the broad sweep of history and architecture. If I return to Rome, I hope I will find some specialized tours on history, architecture, art, and archeology. I strongly recommend anyone taking this tour to wear extremely comfortable shoes. The tour area is all cobblestone and broken stones. It is very hard on the feet. Also the pit stop had a rather old fashioned Italian toilet. On a tour with Americans, I suggest finding a place with more modern facilities.
Tour leader was very knowledgeable and personal. Spent 3 pleasant hours walking through some of the greatest sights in the world! Can't recommend anything better and a real value!
Excellent and highly informative tour guide. There was some disorganization at the beginning and the tour started late, but the quality of the tour made up for it.
In the pouring rain our guide weathered
on with aplomb and good cheer. Better tour than expected ; knowledgable guide.

The two days we were in Rome, it was rainy. We still did the walking day tour of Ancient Rome area and the Vatican. So hard to believe they could build something so intricate with the primitive tools that existed. A chance in a life time to see such history.
The Colosseum is amazing! With this tour we were able to skip the 3-hour line and go right in. The guide was knowledgeable and we were able to see a lot of the city this way. Lots of photo opportunities going to the Trevi Fountain and even waited for me when I wanted to take a few more pictures at the fountain. Very nice tour! I would do this again.
DO NOT LEAVE ROME WITHOUT DOING THIS - FANTASTIC IF YOU ARE ONLY IN TOWN FOR A DAY OR TWO! Ask for Claudia she was amazing!!!!
