Jad was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable and funny. We got into the Sistine Chapel as promised without the massive crowds. Once this was complete we made our way back through the Museum to see other artifacts, paintings and the Pine Vone Cort Yard. We had a great time and can highly recommend this tour. Very good experience, I did the early morning tour, and it is definitely worth it, you miss the crowd, when we were in the Sistine Chapel you had space to move around without bumping into people and it was quiet. the museums and St. Peter's Basilica was amazing, I took lots of pictures. Jad was a great guide, very informative and knew his stuff, our tour ended at 13.00 and by this time I was glad, as it really started to get very crowded and hot in there. If you are going to do this tour take the before hours tour to avoid the crowd.

The Roman Guy Tours is the best way to see the Sistine Chapel. While waiting in line for the early entry, some tour groups were doing absolutely nothing else, while our Roman Guy Guide was prepping our small group of 11 with pictures, stories and his navigational plan for us to be able to see the Sistine Chapel TWICE! It required a quicker pace but suddenly our group broke free from the hoards yes, even at 7:30 am there are hundreds of people, and there we were .... only about 40 people in the entire Sistine Chapel!!! Quiet and reverently our guide gave us all the time in the world to soak in the beauty. Everything else was wonderful, but this moment in the Sistine Chapel was nothing short of incredible.

You must spend the money and do it right when you are going to Rome. We had a small group and earphones to hear our guide. Beware of going in June or July. Even in March, it was very crowded. We did have to wait in a line, but during this time the guide gave us some pre tour infor. Then we made a bee line to the Sistine Chapel because that is the most crowded place. I am still thrilled that I got the chance to see this with mi filio. Lots of walking and some climbing.

The designated meeting spot was easy to find, and the guides all had large bags with the tour name on the side which made them easy to spot.

Our tour guide was Rafi, and she did an amazing job of keeping the group together even though the Vatican was extremely crowded. We spent about a half hour in the line outside, and Rafi used the time to educate us on the construction of the Vatican. Once inside, it was a whirlwind tour, beginning with beautiful carved red porphyry monuments and continuing through a long hallway with several memorial statues, some of children, and then through the map room before we entered the Sistine Chapel itself.

We were allowed twenty minutes in the Sistine chapel, just to soak up the beauty, before exiting through another hallway containing gold and silver treasures behind glass walls. We saw incredibly intricate tapestries, before entering the Raphael rooms, and then went down into the rooms of Pope Alexander VI Rodrigo Borgia, also famously the father of Lucrezia Borgia and Cesare Borgia.

The inside of the Church itself was incredibly breathtaking, the amazing mosaics, so intricately pieced together they look like jeweled paintings, and then Michelangelo's Pieta, arguably the most poignant sculpture ever created, were awe-inspiring.

I was glad to have three hours, but could have spent three months there and not really seen everything there is to see. Thank you, Rafi!

The is definitely worth every penny to get into the Vatican museums early! If not, you have to wait in HUGE lines that wrap around the entire building and the museums get so busy once the doors are open to the public.

Five stars all the way. Our guide was excellent, every question we fired at him he had an answer to. My travel companion had a walking frame, and he was always there when we reached steps or any other obstacle. His command of English was excellent. The Before Hours was a bonus, obviously by the time our tour was finishing the place was packed, but we saw the Sistine Chapel and the main sites well before this. I would highly recommend this tour, and would certainly use Viator on future occasions.

It was worth the money to get a head start and early access to all these amazing works of art and architecture. Having the Sistine Chapel early was worth it. Then we backtracked to the Vatican Museums and concluded at St. Peter's Basilica. The guide was very useful and pointed out so much stuff. I learned a lot.
