The day was amazing. A lot to take in in a day especially with the ride to and from the cruise port. The only negative was that our guide barely understood English, otherwise a fantastic trip.

One of the best tours we did when we visited Italy. Our guide was very personable and knowlegeable and knew streets to travel to avoid traffic.

Skip the line is essential! This tour was worth every penny! I can't imagine trying to find parking or waiting in line to see these magnificent museums! Our tour guide met us at the cruise ship port and took us directly to the front door of the Vatican, the Colosseum, The Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and more. We didn't have a lot of time to spend in Rome, but I felt like we were able to see what we came to see. Highly recommend.

This was an amazing experience. We had Mauro our private driver pick us at the Port and when we ask if we had time to go have some coffee he took us to a café near the Vatican. He was friendly and knowledgeable and answered all our questions and took us to other places besides the Coliseum and the Vatican. We saw the Spanish Steps, went to a high point that showed us a view of the city, Trevi Fountain, he suggested stores and places to eat. We were interested in getting some wine and he took us to a local store were we found wine and delicious Italian candy. We did all this and he got us back to the ship on time... he was absolutely fantastic.

Our group of 7 people enjoyed a wonderful day in Rome with Fabrizio Rossi as our driver in August 2017. He is essentially a tour guide with lots of information on historical and cultural background of sights, current events and interesting news about life in Italy, and practical logistics for your excursions. He is very polite, friendly, attentive, flexible and willing to customize your itinerary, energetic, and speaks excellent English. We were able to visit the inside of St. Peter's Basilica after our Vatican Tour by following Fabrizio's advice, and also got to briefly see a couple of other sights in Rome Pantheon and Piazza Navona that were not on the itinerary, instead of entering inside the Colosseum. Such changes to the itinerary may not always be possible, but even if you like to do something as simple as stopping for gelato or going to a certain restaurant, Fabrizio will make it work for you. The Mercedes van that we rode in was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well on a very hot day. I highly recommend the excursion, as well as Fabrizio Rossi as the driver!

Our guide picked us up at the dock and we headed to Rome. It takes a while to get there so we made some small talk along the way. We went to the Vatican first and our guide led us to the area for us to enter with our pre-purchased tickets. The Vatican is crowded, but what a place! So much to see there, you cannot do it all in a day. After leaving the Vatican we headed for the Trevi Fountain and then on to the Colosseum. Our guide, again, pointed us in the right direction and we spent an hour or so taking in the history. We walked across the street to the Forum before heading back to the ship. It was a week's worth of adventure packed into about 8 hours. I highly recommend this tour!

There is too much to see! This excursion gives only a taste of this tour! The skip the line is a must!

We saw so much! Would have liked to see more of the Vatican but time was limited so must return one day! If you have one day, you'll see the highlights and time for a nice lunch as well!
