Do not think twice, book this tour. You will save time, and will not have lots of crowds. Tour guide was personable and had lots of insights of the Colosseum.

This was a fantastic tour with the Once in Rome tour group. We had a small group--8 people. Our guide did a great tour of the Colosseum with lots of interesting facts. We did not do the underground tour, but still got great views of the underground levels and lots of interesting information. We walked all over the ancient part of Rome and saw lots of beautiful and interesting sites. Our guide Eleana was great. After the tour she gave us a fantastic referral to a great restaurant for lunch. Very good experience.

Loved this tour! The group was small enough that I could keep up with a mobility scooter. They usually don't allow them, but it was doable for me. The guide was excellent and as an archeologist knew the places well. We enjoyed having the group and the info given as we went through the colosseum. My only problem was finding elevator and getting down to the street level exit before the rest of the group finished the tour of the underground portion. The second part of the tour was just as interesting and mostly going around town with info on the places we visited. This was very special to us even though we had visited much of it the night before. On our own we did not have any real information about the places. Going on a good tour made the places much more interesting and fun so it was like the first visit again - only better. Would strongly recommend this tour.

We had a GREAT tour! Paolo was our guide and he was FANTASTIC!!! He was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed our time with him. He even helped a couple of us find a gluten free restaurant. He went above and beyond!!!! Thank you for the great tour and especially thank you Paolo!!!

We really enjoyed our tour, our guide was extremely knowledgable and a pleasure to spend time with.

The tour guide was nice enough but in retrospect we didn't really learn all that much, and didn't see any part of the Colosseum that we couldn't have seen on our own.

I've had such a great time! I only had a few hours to spend in Rome and this tour was the perfect way to visit some of the highlights of the Eternal City. Ferdinando, a former archaeologist, is an extremely knowledgeable and friendly guide. The skip the line access to the Colosseum saves you a lot of time and hassle. I totally recommend this tour.
