This tour was worth getting up early to avoid the lines. I don’t remember our guides name but she was English and very passionate about her job. It helped that she was so enthusiastic. She helped keep my toddler entaertained. Warning to parents. The tour is fantastic but a little long for 18 mth old

Flavia was a terrific tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable, approachable, and had the perfect energy for our group. She was a wealth of information and in the extremely rare instance she didn't know the answer to a question I felt sure she would research the answer for her next group. She really made the tour exceptional and memorable.

The tour was scheduled was just the right time, before the crowd. The location to meet was easy to find. The guide sorry I forgot here name was great! told us some great facts before going on the tour. Our guide also took great concern that everyone in the group was accounted for. I would strongly recommend this tour.

Definitely worth waking up early for! A nice overview of the Vatican Museums, especially the Sistine Chapel which we were given pictures of to reference before/after our viewing, as no pictures were allowed, and St. Peter's Basilica. Our tour guide, Matteo, was professional, spoke excellent English, and had a clear appreciation of the history he expertly conveyed to us. The tour meets earlier that the museums will open, so be prepared to stand outside for a bit on line, but know that as soon as they open you are first in. People not on tours and hoping to secure tickets the day-of have many more hours to wait than you will if you are smart and book this tour!

HIGHLY recommend this tour. By the time we came out of St. Peter's basilica there were no less than a thousand people waiting in line to get in. When we started the Vatican tour we were in the first 100 people. It's still crowded, but with a tour guide and headphones it works really well. I honestly don't know how you could do it on your own.
