Incredible experience with Claudia and Bruno!
Liam_B, Sep 2022
We had an incredible time with Claudia and Bruno at their home learning how to cook a traditional Italian lunch. We created fun memories that will last a lifetime! They made us feel so comfortable and welcome. Bruno was always smiling, joking and playing the keyboard while Claudia worked incredibly hard (with some of our help) to prepare a meal with their home-grown ingredients. We enjoyed this excursion despite the short travel outside of the city and would recommend it to anyone looking for something to do that is less traditional while in Rome or nearby. You won’t find a class like this in the city!!
Absolutely fabulous and we are coming back!!!

Bruno, Claudia, and Angela were amazing. Traveling to the countryside from the train station in his Ferrari was the start of an amazing day of cooking, eating, laughter, and music. Much more than entertainment, this is for the serious chefs who want to learn. We had an amazing day and am looking forward to coming back again to visit, and learn new recipes. Belle!!!

A Great Cooking Class...Highly Recommended!
Kent_B, Jun 2022
We had a great time meeting and cooking with Claudia at her house in Zagarolo. It was an easy train ride from Roma Termini station. Bruno picked us up and provided historical and cultural information on the drive to their house. Claudia had ideas for the morning's cooking class and was gracious and talented enough to switch menu items when we talked about "Gluten Free Preference." She quickly thought up new recipes and rearranged ingredients. Note: We were spoiled...we were the only people on the morning we went! During the meal preparation, Claudia explained; modeled; and let us participate in all steps. She also answered our questions about preparing food and cooking in general. She was a gracious host, wonderful teacher, and a fun lunch companion...we laughed so much! Together with Bruno, we headed to the garden to pick cherries and mulberries (which made it into our sorbetto dessert!) Bruno showed us his winemaking locale. We toured the family vineyard and olive orchard. Thank you Claudia for opening up your house to us and sharing your cooking talents and experiences with us. It was a wonderful and memorable experience. Bravissimo!
10/10 ✨

We had a wonderful time learning to cook multiple dishes and a great dessert! Claudia and Bruno were warm, fun, and really made the experience. I can’t wait to cook risotto and gluten free ravioli when I’m back in the states.
Amazing Italian Cooking Experience

This is an amazing Italian cooking experience. Claudia and Bruno and their country home are delightful. Claudia is a great chef and will teach you how to make several delicious dishes. She has a few wonderful surprises for you too!
Unforgettable experience!

We took the train from Roma - very easy ride, and were picked up at Zagarolo. Claudia’s house is surrounded by a beautiful garden that had all the herbs for her cooking. She welcomed us with coffee and cookies and showed us around. Her kitchen is large and comfortable to work in. She made accommodations for our dietary needs so everyone can enjoy! We made fresh pasta for ravioli and cannelloni, a baked vegetable dish and many other side dishes that Claudia suggested from the fresh ingredients she had that day. We were fortunate enough to enjoy the fruits of the baking class she conducted the previous day ad had rum baba for dessert. With Claudia you don’t have generic cooking class - this experience is extremely unique! We were sad to leave but hope to be back one day for more! If you are looking for something different than your local Rome pizza/pasta classes, you must try this! We can’t thank Claudia enough for the afternoon we spent with her!

This was such a great experience! We took the train in from Rome. Claudia's friends met us at the station and drove us to her lovely home in the country. They were all so friendly, helpful and fun. With Claudia's instruction, we made pasta dishes. Another group made desserts. Then we all shared the meal together - including wine that Claudia had made herself. She has grapevines and olive trees on her property. She hand picks the grapes and olives to make wine and olive oil. It was one of our favorite parts of the trip - an authentic Italian experience. I would highly recommend this as an alternative and addition to all the wonderful site seeing in Rome. We would absolutely spend another day Cooking with Claudia if we ever return.

My friend and I absolutely loved this class. The chef Claudia was wonderful and the translator Elletra was so sweet and helpful along the way. It felt more like we were visiting good friends than attending either a regimented or scholastic class I've been to those in the past and this so much fun. I've loved to cook for a good many years, and learning new techniques as well as using such wonderful ingredients was inspiring. I am hoping I can duplicate many of the recipes we learned, but I will forever remember all of us sitting at her table in her lovely home, enjoying the fruits of our labor, touring her beautiful grounds, smelling all the fresh herbs she grows, and sampling her delicious wines. I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to enjoy a brief train ride from Rome, see some of the gorgeous Italian countryside along the way, and experience what is sure to be one of the most enjoyable times you could imagine.

Our family of six, spent a wonderful week in Rome, looking forward to our cooking class in the country. We enjoyed the short train ride to Zagarolo, a lovely medieval town. Claudia greeted us at her home, and we started one of the most memorial days of our trip. We donned aprons and set to work making pasta. As the pasta rested we set to work making a delicious filling. Soon we were all laughing at our efforts in designing ravioli. The leftover pasta was scooped up and we watched linguini being made in the pasta press. Claudia was amazing moving from one thing to another as we made sauce, filling, cream for the dessert, and dessert dough. The recipes are simple but delicious and we all plan on making them at home. Probably the best part of the day was the laughter. We laughed at our attempts to make various things, and at each other. The whole experience was so much fun. We are English speakers, and Claudia had a friend there to translate, as well as my husband who speaks Italian, but soon, with lots of hand gestures and some translation, we were all understanding the Italian/English language going on in the kitchen. Friendships and cooking transcends language. While the dessert dough was cooking Claudia took us out to show us her property. She and bruno have a small vineyard for their own wine, and olive tress for the oil used in the cooking class. It was fun to guess at the fresh herbs growing in pots and we actually used the whole sage leaves in one of the antipastos. So delicious. Sitting down family style with Claudia and Bruno was a treat. So much amazing food, and conversation. We were so well taken care of, we hated to leave. This was the perfect ending to our week in Rome. We hated to say good-bye to our new friends. I sincerely hope we get to see them again.

This was an amazing day. We had the opportunity to experience Italian hospitality as Claudia welcomed us into her home where we learned to make homemade pasta. We were there with another group who was taking a dessert making class. We started with hand rolled pasta that was used to create lasagna, from there we made ravioli filling and then hand-made the raviolis while Claudia cooked them in a butter sauce. Finally, we created linguine pasta that was used for carbonara. The cooking itself was fun, but probably the best part was the overall experience. The countryside was beautiful and the experience was authentic. Claudia is a very patient and enjoyable host! She and her friends made us all feel comfortable and it felt more like we were at a large family gathering cooking a big dinner for family. Once all the food was complete pastas, bread, desserts we all sat down at a large table in her house and enjoyed the fruits of our labor. Claudia complimented the meal with her homemade red and white wines. My family and I spent a week in Italy visiting all the touristy locations, but I can honestly say this was one of the most enjoyable parts of the trip.
