At Nonna’s apartment in Rome, your cooking experience starts by getting to know this Italian ‘grandma.’ Hear about some of her culinary secrets and how she loves to cook up Italian specialties using traditional methods. While a high-end culinary school may provide impressive kitchen skills, only Nonna can share the true secrets of homemade Italian dishes.

With your recipe for dinner in hand, Nonna will tell you about all of the fresh, seasonal and regional ingredients you’ll be using—there’s no cutting corners in Nonna’s kitchen. Watch her cook and follow her lead, paying close attention, as there may be tricky work involved. While this is a lesson, it’s also a relaxed and fun experience, with Italian wine and processo flowing throughout the evening. Chat with your fellow cooks, and then sit down to enjoy your 3-course dinner of appetizer, main course and dessert.
