We had booked a 48 hr hop on hop off with skip the line Colosseum guided tour. When speaking with the booking agent he advised we could pick up the bus at all locations and therefore get to the Colosseum, We spent more than 2 hours checking with every bus (hop on/hop off) in many areas. Not one bus accepted our voucher. More than 2 hours running back and forth in various locations (in plus 95 degrees) we finally got through to the 800 # and spoke with someone that spoke English. That was after many calls prior. I was advised I had to take public transportation to the Colosseum and then get ticket for hop on hop off! This was a horrible experience! As well as ruined a good part of our day in Rome. We only had 2 days. I reported this to my credit card company and expect a full refund for misrepresentation by the booking agent.

I will never use Viator again. The CitySightseeing Roma bus did not accept the printed ticket or ticket saved to iPhone. Told us to go to Piazza dell'Esquiline to get tickets. Couldn't find. Went to Colosseum Metro under construction. No one knew where via della Polveriera N.8 was. No map on voucher or ticket. Our one day in Rome was lost. While checking out of hotel next morning found a brochure with a tiny map. Used magnifying glass back in USA to find the street.
