Great way to experience Florence in a day. Be warned, the leather shop they take you at the end of the tour is a tourist trap, even with the 20 discount if you pay cash. You are much better off buying in the small shops outside.

Nice way to get a feel for Florence, although you really need much more time than is provided on this tour fully explore the city.
Stefano was our wonderful tour guide for our Florence trip.. The guide who gave us a tour of the magnificent duomo Brunelleschis Dome, Giottos Bell Tower and Accademia Gallery was very thorough and quite interesting. Loved Michelangelos David sculpture, Madonna and Child by Botticelli and the sculptures by Michelangelo Quattro Prigioni depicting prisoners trying to escape from the marble from which they are carved. Both guides spoke English and spanish very well. We enjoyed touring the city and had a relaxing Florentine lunch. Lots of time for shopping 1 and half hour. The bus was very clean and the scenic drive was spectacular. This day tour is not to be missed!
So much to see! It was well organized and we got through all the crowds.
Wish I would have known about discounts for using cash at the leather and gold shop...would have brought more USD and Euros honored. Guides were impressive with knowledge and language ability. Food could have been better at lunch.
The local tour company selected by Viator is top notch the morning hotel pick-up was right on time, and the day trip to Florence from Rome was excellent, especially the tour guide in Florence was well prepared and knowledgeable, as matter of face, she was from Florence with ultimate knowledge about the history of Florence.
Trip to Florence was great...loved the tour guide....scenery...city
This was a nice day trip -- guide was outstanding, bus was clean and quiet, felt like we saw lots of sights in Florence.
Very nice day trip to see some of the more influential areas of Florence. The tour guide was very passionate about the city and was a great resource. We got to see the statue of David, then we saw some of the town squares. Lunch was very good with several portions of pasta, then a meat and potato dish, and finally dessert. Finally we had about an hour on our own to shop or frequent one of the town pubs. Very good experience.
Our tour here was Fantastic,,, Very Long Day But Well Worth It!!
While the goal of this outing was to see the statue of David, I also enjoyed visiting the historic part of Florence. Time was given to browse and to revisit, in greater depth. some of the sights shown.
Beautiful country side ,good food and restaurant, excellent place for shopping

A long tireing day, but worth it as the cruise we were doing called in for Florence on a Monday when both Accadamia and Uffizi galleries are closed.
The day was long, but well worth the trip. Our only regret was we didn't have more free time in Florence to shop on our own. The guide was helpful and seeing the statue of David made it all worthwhile.
The lady on the bus was so nice and patient and sweet. She was very personable and friendly.
The tour guide of the museum was very informative and kind. The only thing I didn't get was the
tour to a leather factory to buy things. This was most curious. I'm not sure if your tour company gets
a percentage of the profits from tourists. odd. But I love the bus driver and the guide.
Our tour was truly wonderful - our Tour Guide a young woman ... can't recall her name now was really excellent, answered all of our questions and made our entry to the sites visited very smooth - she even gave me a sweet bracelet from one of the local artisans. It was a great intro to Istanbul since we were only there for a short period of time - highly recommend this.
