The Friday night tour was a wonderful way to get an overview of the Vatican treasures and see the Sistine Chapel. There were still crowds, but it is apparently much better than during the day. Would have like to have more time to linger, but the collections are vast! Good guide and organized tour operation.

Friday evening at the Vatican is the perfect time to go. Less crowds and an opportunity to take in all of the artwork and grandeur of the museums. My favorite time to visit and soak in especially the beautiful of the Raphael room and the Sistine Chapel. Our guide, Giulio, was knowledgeable and extremely personable. A great experience.
Our guide was very knowledgeable - she had so much information to share. Sometimes it was a little difficult to understand because of her accent. I went on the Friday night tour which was so much cooler than during the daytime...a good choice. There is so much to see it is almost overwhelming.
I really enjoyed this tour, so much to see, makes your head spin. but wow it was really busy, would hate to go in the day time. We had an excellent guide, although sometimes we had information overload. I loved learning about Michelangelo, and seeing the Sistine Chapel was amazing.
This was a fantastic tour that allowed us to avoid the lines and let us see the Vatican by night, including the beautiful Sistine Chapel, Our guide, Linda, was friendly, energetic, and very knowledgeable, providing us with tidbits of knowledge new to me and my wife. The price is fair and having a guided small group with plenty of opportunities for questions and answer makes this option worth the step up from self-guided or audio-only tours.
Taking a night time tour of the Vatican is definitely the way to go. We enjoyed the full Vatican experience minus the crowds, lineups and excessive July heat. The icing on the cake was Deborah who was one of the most exceptional tour guides we have ever met. Deborah educated and entertained our group of 8 including 4 teenagers who have varying attention spans mixing history with anecdotes and using simple, relatable contexts and stories. She was definitely the aspect of the tour that impressed us the most. I would highly recommend taking in all the richness of the Vatican in this way.
Amazing. Probably 20 minutes too long due to crowds and heat. Our guide was knowledgeable and respectful. Would take years to really see and appreciate everything but we got the highlights. Sistine too crowded
It was amazing! Loved Debra from Enjoy Rome. She was very passionate and knowledgeable regarding the information she taught.
Very nice job with the entire process, from booking to check-in to the guide. Had a wonderful time!
This tour is amazing!! Ask for Deborah, you can tell she loves her job. This tour was my favorite part about Rome.
The Summer Friday Night Tour is the best. less Crowded and cooler temperatures. If you can request a specific tour Guide, please ask for Debra. The whole group was overwhelmed by Debra and #39;s knowledge and caring to assure all were enlightened.
I and #39;m so glad we took the Friday night tour! It was definitely less crowded than during the day and the lighting and quiet was mellow, and much cooler than during the day. Our tour guide, Deborah, was very kind, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. I highly recommend it.
Excellent tour with a very knowledgeable guide. The tour lasts approximately 3 hours so wear comfy shoes and take water with you as it is very hot in Rome at the moment. The only downside was being ripped off by taxis drivers. Beware because they are lined up as you leave the museum and it was dark and we were tired and just wanted to get back to the hotel. It cost 12 euros to get there and I had to barter them down to 25 to get home. It was a genuine taxi but the excuse was it costs more at night.
Linda was our tour guide and was fabulous! She was energetic, funny and very informative. She knew her history and made the three hour journey through the Vatican museum stellar and enjoyable. The tour itself is great-touches on all the most famous pieces with the benefit of skipping the long lines
To avoid the ques and the crush book this tour. It is expensive but worth every dollar. If you can use Debra as your guide from Enjoy Romeget her experience. Her knowledge and enthusiasm will make this an unforgettable experience
Alexandra our tour guide was great , she was very knowledgeable . A very small group of 12.
This was my third visit to Vatican and was my best!!!
Absolutely recommend this Friday night tour... not as crowded, and the tour guide was fantastic! What a great experience.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Friday Night Vatican Museum Tour and the tour of the Sistine Chapel. Hillary ?? was our guide, and it was clear that she is very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the Vatican.
Wow! This tour was greatWe loved our tour guide Rosella! she was funny, smart and her enthusiasm
was contagious. We were referred to this tour after reading an article in National Geographic Traveler.
The lack of crowds and the beauty of the evening was perfect. It was a perfect introduction to our fabulous three days in Rome!
We had been to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel during normal hours, but a friend told us that we must see it at night and this tour gave us that opportunity. Our guide, Rosella, was an art historian and restorer who provided insights and understanding to what we were seeing. Guides are not allowed to accompany tours into the Chapel so we were on our own at that point but Rosella had prepared us well for our experience. Being able to observe and take in this incredible masterpiece in a small group setting, for as long as we wanted to stay, was an unforgettable experience!
I would highly recommend this night tour. There were a lot of people but personal attention was given to the group. The guide was knowledgeable and took the time to answer questions from individuals. I was amazed by the amount of visitors who were there on a Friday night.
Really enjoyed this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the Sistine Chapel, and it was very pleasant visiting the museum without the crowds.
A great way to see the Vatican and it beats the craziness of the day crowds.
