Must do for quick trips!
sonam, Jan 2025
Had an amazing time visiting all the sites in one single day! Roberto was phenomenal at being our guide and had fun stories to share, plus we got lucky in taking so many photos and beautiful views. Would definitely recommend !

Our guide, Rob, was great. He was very knowledgeable and funny. Always attentive to everyone's needs. Very focused on what you had say/ask. The guides for our Pompeii tour were also great! They were from the city of modern day Pompeii so they knew their stuff. It was an overall great experience. The only downside was that most of Postiano's shops were closed due to being off season but it was great to know that you could walk on the beach without paying a fee during off season. I was able to get many photos and was greatful to meet people who take my photo because I was solo. I felt safe and I would definitely do this again!
Must do for your trip to Italy!
Idela_E, Jan 2025
Our bus guide, Rob, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made the long drive both there and back enjoyable but still with time to rest each way. I loved all of his fun facts along the way. The sites were beautiful! The tour of Pompeii was very interesting and my favorite thing so far on my vacation to Italy. Giorgio was excellent guiding our group! After Pompeii, the drive to the Amalfi coast and Postisno was simply breathtaking. Unlike anything I’ve seen before. Definitely a must for your trip to Italy!
Unforgettable. Must do

Eduardo guided us through Pompei with his extensive knowledge and humour. Visiting Positano was so very beautiful. We stopped for limoncello by the beach. Wow. Thankyou xxxxxxx nat, Paul and grace xxxxxxxxx
Pompeii, Amalfi coast and lots of good people
Jason_R, Jan 2025
The day was amazing. ENRIQUA was our guide. She was a charming Italian woman who reminded me of Mrs. Doubtfire and your picture of a grandma making authentic Italian cooking. She was very nice and knowledgeable. She also tried to get people engaged asking where they were from on the bus. This helped us get to know more people. You meet at 730AM. We then had 50 people in a bus as we traveled to CASINO first then for a rest stop, before traveling on to Pompeii. You could pre-order a pizza or get lunch on your own in Pompeii. At Pompeii you will do a lot of walking have comfortable shoes, with a new guide as we were divided into 2 groups of 25. They have headphones so you can hear the guide as you walk. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered questions as she explained things along the route. After lunch we got back on the bus to the Amalfi coast. It was a beautiful drive and plenty of opportunities for pictures of the colored houses and sunset. When you arrive, you can walk among the shops for Limoncello and other lemon theme items. We then returned to CASINO on the way back where you can have a pasta supper and/or get souvenirs. It was a long day from 0730 to 9PM, but well worth it. I met a nice couple who lived in Sioux City, IA, near where I grew up and they were from Haiti. We talked throughout the day and gave them my contact info for them to get my pictures, as they asked many times if they could get them and I even took pictures of them, but I have not heard from them. If you know them or if they are reading this, drop me a line. They are the couple in one of the pictures standing together. I also met a remarkable woman named Denise from New Jersey and hope to connect with her as well. She worked for Merck and is part Greek. She was just very interesting. If anyone knows her last name or if she sees this say hello. I see I got a picture of her, the one sitting down at the Pompeii amphitheater. Enjoy your trip. Jason
Checked a bucket list item!

Meeting place was easy to find. Round trip is convenient! This is a great way to meet new friends! Pompeii was the highlight for me and was a bucket list item crossed off. Pictures don’t do it justice, see it for yourself! Highly recommend this tour!

Great!
Alissa_B, Jan 2025
It was a long day but SO WORTH IT! If you’re trying to see and do a lot…then this is for you! The tour is two parts - first at Pompeii then the second stop is Positano. Due to the distance from Rome, it’s not a lot of time at each place but so cool to see both of you are wanting to. I’m so happy I booked it and we had Viviana as a tour leader and she was fantastic!

Pompeii, Positano & Amalfi Coast with Viviana and Luca
Heather_J, Jan 2025
We traveled with Viviana and Luca. Luca was an extremely skilled driver and we arrived safely and confortably, exactly on time. Viviana was nice and very knowledgeable. Viviana is very quick and lost about half of the group trying to get to Pompeii and Positano from the bus. You should ask her to slow down a bit. Of all of the trips we have booked, this was probably the best value. The tour company books the Pompeii tickets and the guided tour with Enzo was included. We traveled in the off season, so Pompeii wasn’t crowded at all. Great tour of the site! Viviana coordinated a meal with the Vesuviu restaurant right outside the gate This was to save time and it was the only nearby restaurant that was open in the off season. It was 18€ per person. This was a terrible value. The food was ready, but they didn’t have a great process to disperse it and collect the money and the food was terrible. We then traveled to Positano via mountainside roads. I it’s another hour beyond Pompeii. I wouldn’t recommend choosing the Positano version of the trip. It’s another hour past Pompeii. Since it’s the off season, all of the shops were closed. In the high season you would have to fight a million tourists for the tiny road to get there and in the narrow streets of this very tiny town. It was very quaint and I loved the ceramics, but couldn’t get any because the shops were closed. The views were beautiful and it was very nice seeing the houses on the mountainside. I just don’t think the extra 2 hours of travel on the trip were worthwhile. If they have another add-on to Pompeii, I would choose that. I’ve been to Capri before and would love to go back and spend a little more time. You will stop at the stereotypical tourist trap rest area at the midpoint each way, which tour companies typically have a deal with. There was nothing otherwise wrong with the rest area. Overall long day, but great value. I recommend!
Great Day at Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast
Elizabeth_F, Jan 2025
Very well organized and executed. Viviana and Tiziano (bus driver) were both excellent. You'll really get a great tour at Pompeii and see the Amalfi coast up close.

Be well rested, as it's a long day. Take advantage of the pizza deal as there is not a lot of time between breaks.

Happy we upgraded to the semi private tour (with 7 people). Our driver Claudio was very nice. We visited Pompeii with a certified Pompeii tour guide, lunch (self funded), limoncello tasting and Positano. Pompeii was amazing. It’s a long day (approx 12hours).
Pompeii, Amalfi Coast and Positano
Anjel_S, Jan 2025
Chiara and Julius are a wonderful team. Chiara is very knowledgeable about the history and cultures of the various regions in Italy. She had great recommendations for food and what sights to see. Julius navigated the bus through some very tight situations like a boss! Giovanni, our guide in Pompeii, gave us a wonderful overview of the city and its history. It was a day well spent.

Liliana_W, Jan 2025
It rained all day, but that did not take away from the beauty of the locations. The rain added something special to the experience. Our driver Claudio was great and we felt safe - even on the road leading to Positano. He also made arrangements to stop at local shops which was great. Had a yummy group lunch, met wonderful people, and over all had a wonderful time. Our tour guide in Pompei was also great and had a great sense of humor and was very knowledgeable.
An Informative and Enjoyable Family Tour of Pompeii Despite the Weather
LARALYN_C, Jan 2025
My husband and I, along with our two kids (a 14-year-old boy and an 18-year-old girl), took this tour during the first week of January. Our tour guide, Enrica, and our driver, Enrico, were fantastic. It was cold and a little rainy, but Enrica kept us informed and on time. She shared a lot of information about what we were seeing from the tour bus and gave us a good briefing about the day before it began. We had two rest stops at a souvenir shop. Enrica suggested we buy umbrellas and ponchos in case of rain, but she was not pushy about spending any money in the store. I was thankful for her suggestion, as it did rain on us in Positano! Since lunch was not included, I brought lunch for my family, but the tour company offered a pizza lunch for purchase after Pompeii for anyone who wanted it. We did not get to see Vesuvius, as it was covered by clouds, but the tour of Pompeii was informative and interesting. My 14-year-old was really interested in the history lesson from the tour guide. The day was long, but it was well worth it. The bus was comfortable, as well. Thank you to Enrica and Enrico for an engaging, well-informed, interesting day.

Rob was fantastic. Very entertaining and shared a lot of fun facts about Roman history, culture and food. Pompeii is an amazing wonder. And you can’t beat the beauty of the Amalfi coast. I rated this tour 4 stars only because it was off season and it was not disclosed in the booking information that 95% of the shops and restaurants were closed in Positano. There really wasn’t anything to do which was disappointing. We managed to find one cafe and enjoyed the views of the sea while sipping Lemon spritz. Keep in mind it’s a long day - about 6-7 hours on a bus. But if you are short on time and want to see this part of Italy, it’s a good way to kill 2 birds with one stone.

Def recommend even in winter
Maria_G, Jan 2025
Good well organized excursion. I went with my brother and enjoyed Pompeii and Positano. It was January so the weather was cloudy and a little chilly but fewer tourists so we could enjoy the sights more. Paola and Adamo were our guide and driver very professional and kind.
