Our guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant, and he was also really generous with his time - our tour was nearly 5 hours! We learned a lot more about the Palatine Hill, for instance the Houses of Augustus and Livia are really something special. Highly recommended!

Best way to see the Palatine Hill, the emperors palace and recently opened house of Augustus and house of Livia. Our guide Alessio gave us a terrific account of the history of the sites and Rome as well as an insight into the lives of the roman people - excellent. Well worth a visit and the bonus is some fantastic views across ancient Rome, the Forum and Colosseum. Tour ends inside the Roman Forum so you can explore this part of ancient Rome further.

Massimiliano was our guide. We took this tour because my husband had a life long interest in Roman history. Massimiliano did not disappoint. The small group 2 of us could discuss in detail specific questions we always wanted to know. We learned so much. We went at our own pace. We navigated the crowds. Once in a lifetime tour, and we felt special.

VITO was the tour guide. Fantastic , wonderful , informative, concentrated on areas that I was interested in how things were designed and made. This was truly a private tour, just myself and my wife in the group. We took four tours in Rome and Vito made this the best.
Vito was unhurried but wasted no time. The Domus Augustana was a great addition to the regular tour. One problem, we did not tip Vito as much as we wanted to tip. We gave wrong euro paper. Please add some to your tip because we stiffed him some by mistake.

All positive. Garcone is an excellent guide. He is very knowledgable. In the beginning he ascertained our interests and level of knowledge and accommodated accordingly. I recommend him and this tour to anyone who wants an in-depth look at the Palatine and to have their questions answered accurately.l
