Vittoria was just wonderful. She is bright and engaging and interesting. She not only knows her subjects well, but relates it all in detail to Angels and Demons. Having read the book twice and seen the movie, she made the perfect trifecta. Her English is wonderful, is open to all manner of questions and has a wide breadth of knowledge. You could not fail to enjoy both her and this adventure with Robert Langdon

I loved this tour! So interesting. Our guide, Vittoria, met us at our hotel and from there we walked part of the tour and then met our driver for one leg of the tour. Vittoria could not have been more considerate or informative. We took the tour on Sunday morning and had to alter the course a bit since there were masses being conducted at the churches along the tour. Still, we got to see most of what we hoped to see and learned much more about the history of Rome and the connections to the Angels and Demons than we expected to learn. Fascinating! As part of the tour, we visited St. Peter's Square where we were able to see Pope Francis and receive his blessing which he gives from his papal balcony at noon on Sundays. That was an added bonus to be sure which I greatly appreciated.

I see that others have commented on the long walks. It is true that we walked a long way but we loved that aspect of the tour since Vittoria told us about the neighborhoods and provided background information all along our walks. She offered to have the driver meet us and drive us between sites but we declined that offer and were rewarded by doing so since we got to see and learn so much more by walking.

We are fans of Dan Brown and this series of books, so this was a great way to see some of the sights of Rome in a unique way. To make it even better, our small group, was just my husband and myself! Our guide is very proud of the city and this tour. She is very knowledgeable and took the time to answer our questions and added a few extras once she found out that this was our first visit to Rome.

This tour followed the book with a few changes to the order for efficiency sake and our guide reminded us about the story line in the book and the differences to the movie as we went along and she added some background perspective on belief about religion during the age that the various churches and points of interest were built and how that reflected in how each was decorated. We loved this perspective as it gave us a new way of looking at these points of interest.

Excellent tour with a very knowledgeable and affable guide. Vittoria, our guide, ensured that we enjoyed the four hours that we spent walking/driving around Rome.

4 star rating: Recommended June 2016

Our guide was fun and very informative. Because it was Sunday and services were going on we switched up the order which wasn't a problem and we drove to the Pantheon and first two churches. Then came the loooooonnnnnggg walk! Church to St. Peter's Square to Piazza Navona to Castel San Angelo. Our guide adjusted the pace to our needs but I estimate the walking portion was several miles in the hot afternoon sun. Driving between at least the last two stops would be so much better. Still a great tour that I highly recommend.
