This was a fun experience for all, my 18 and 23 year old enjoyed as well. Never knew there were so many different baking variations of pizza. Definitely worth doing!
We had a fantastic time and our guide was great. It was my son and #39;s birthday and she went out of the way to get him a special treat to help us celebrate. Highly recommend this your.
The tour was wonderful. The guide was very informative and the places she took us to had delicious food. Even the historical stops were very interesting and informative. Highly recommend the tour and tour guide, Allesandra, we believe was her name.
This tour exceeded my expectations. I knew it should be ok, but it was a thoughtful and interesting presentation. Plenty to eat, come hungry.
This tour was spectacular. They use an inductive approach to pizza. First trying crust, then sauce, the ingredients, then finished pizzas of all kinds. At the end of it I knew so much more about the Italian approach to pizza, food, and culture. The tour gives you a nice tour of the Monti neighborhood but Alessandra gave us restaurant recommendations for all over. We had better meals because of this tour. The group size is small, we had 5 including us on our tour. Don't eat lunch before you go. You get a lot of pizza.
Lovely experience! Learned a lot of great things about the food and traditions in Rome!
The absolute best! Our guide Chiara was AMAZING and the food we were able to sample was some of the best we had on our trip to Rome....we even ventured back to the places we visited a couple of days later! Worth every penny!
“I cannot say enough about this tour – it was AMAZING! We even ended up going back to a couple of the stops later on in our trip! Food was great, atmosphere was fantastic and our guide was exceptional!”
Barbara was fantastic! Energetic and very enthusiastic about her city and its rich history.
This was an excellent way to see Rome and the food was delicious.
Very informative, the tastings were great and the tour guide was very knowledgable. Nice to see the back streets of Rome where the locals dine
Great. Barbara was a super terrific guide. It was not only pizza tasting in in various restaurants but a very interesting site seeing event. We learned a lot about the area and our guide made it a very friendly group by having us introduce ourselves and where we were from. One of our best tours.
A fun tour with lots of food. Best not to have breakfast before the tour as there are five stops for pizza and ice cream and we're not talking bite size pieces either. Guide was very personable and knew her pizza! Small group size made for an intimate experience.

Especially good tour if you are traveling with kids! Our guide Marco was terrific - very engaging and engenertic. It was obvious that he loves his city and his job which made our experience even more enjoyable.
We were looking for something different to do in Rome besides museums and monuments. We had 3 teenagers with us. This was a great 3 hours. We got a locals look and telling of the history of the Colosseum area, a guided walking tour of the Monti neighborhood, a look at how Romans look at Pizza, and samples of many kinds of pizza, drinks, toppings, topped off with a pizza and beer or soda lunch. We made one stop at the Basilica in the neighborhood. Had a great guide and we really enjoyed the tour. Would recommend to anyone who can handle the walking.

We were the only ones on the tour but Lucy the guide was great. We walked into the only part of Rome we had not managed to explore on our own which was a coincidental bonus. The food was great and she was very informative.
This is a must do when first visiting Rome!!! Sandro introduced us to the history of pizza and then some of the best pizza ever. When doing this tour, you must have an empty stomach. There is so much to sample. After making 3 food stops, we toured Saint Maria Maggiore Basilica. The gelato was great!
Barbara was such a great guide for this tour. LOVED how we walked all over and tasted the different pizzas and cheese. Barbara is very knowledgable and we learned so much not only about pizza but about Italy and the neighborhoods too. Book this trip now! You'll be happy you did !
very friendly and fun guide. Learned about the local area which is off the beaten path. Tried many types of pizza at small places that we would not have experienced without the tour. The food was good and plentiful. Nobody left hungry for sure.
Fabio, was Fabulous. Great tour and such genuine interest and passion that he over ran by over 90 minutes! great tour and you see so much more than just pizza, real history and real local people. Fantastic
Our tour guide, Giovanna (or Big Mama G as she called herself!) was the best! Not only was she funny, she was one smart little biscotti! We ate great pizza, sampled cheese. olives, Limoncello and of course gelato! We also visited the Basilica of Santa Mara Maggore. History, fun facts and food-it was great!
Without question, this was our favorite activity during our 4-day stay in Rome! Our guide was superb and very knowledgable about Roman history, and, of course, pizza history. We learned a lot from her, had many laughs, had a delightful walking tour near Trajan's Market and through Santa Maria Maggiore Church, and ate lots and lots of pizza and gelato. Very interesting to learn about, and eat, the different types of genuine Italian pizza. A great walking feast right at lunch time. Do this one.
Tour was really good. Guide was extremely knowledgeable about pizza and I went to the tour hungry and came back full from so much good pizza.
