Be prepared for a lot of waling for this tour but its really good. Easy to find the meet location and find the guide. The Colosseum tour is great. I got lost and missed the Ancient Rome tour but my family said it was good too. Pay close attention to all your belongings as there are many beggars and illegal sellers on the streets. Our tour guide was really great and informative and made sure we always had enough time to take photos etc.
Very good way to see a lot of important features of Rome. Our Colosseum and Forum guide was knowledgeable and great to listen to. Before our tour even began, he told us to go see Michelangelo's Moses in a nearby church.
Sara, conducted our Best of Rome Walking Tour. She was great and really knew her stuff. She was full of energy and information. The afternoon cappuccino or hot chocolate near the Pantheon was a real treat. So much so, we went back to the same cafe a few days later.
I highly recommend both of these tours. It made Rome come alive.
Very well done. Both portions of the tour were informative and interesting. Would have taken several days to see and learn everything on our own. Would definitely recommend to my friends. Comfortable shoes are a must because of all the walking, but there aren't any dull moments. Lots of photo ops.
Apologies as I can’t remember the name of our great tour guides, they both brought the whole tour alive with their enthusiasm, knowledge and love of what was being shown/spoken about
Thank you and would defiantly recommend this walk ......comfortable shoes LOL

This tour was terrific - definitely worth booking a tour just to avoid the queues. Having a knowledgable guide (Paulo) brought the sights to life.
Excellent tour package! Tour guides for both were extremely knowledgable and happy to answer questions. I would this tour again because there is so much to see that you can't take it all in.
Simone and Elizabeth were the best tour guides we had during our stay in Italy. They were very informative, knowledgeable, engaging, and fun. We recommend them very highly.
Maria was a fantastic tour guide and skipping the line is worth the cost alone at the Colosseum. The evening tour was a bit long, and we dedcided to break off by the Pantheon- next to our hotel. Both were very informative and point out things that one might typically miss. Definitely would do it again.
This tour was offered through Dark Rome. The meeting place on the directions say in the square above the subway for the morning tour which is actually a circular area above the line :) thought I'd mention since quite a few people were confused. Giulia was our morning guide. Very good tour of the Colosseum and very knowledgable guide. She had lots of great pictures to help you I vision what it looked like in ancient times. Morning tour also includes the Roman forum. Afternoon tour led my Damien. This tour brings you to the major attractions like the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and Pantheon. We saw the sight on our own but you miss a lot without a guide. Overall great. Anything Dark Rome tour company led was fantastic!
Claudia, our guide, was excellent and very knowledgable. The sound system was perfect for such a busy place. Couldn't fault it - will definitely use Viator again.
Two great tours in one day! Both of the guides were very knowledgeable and made the venues even more interesting. Each tour was well devised and exceeded my expectations. Thank You for adding to my enjoyment of Rome.
David our tour guide for the Colosseum portion was fun and interesting. He took a somewhat gruesome subject and added some levity. His knowledge helped with the understanding of events and why. To visit these sights without a guide to explain what you are looking at is only cheating yourself. The afternoon walk with Simon (our guide) through the streets of Rome was invaluable. Simon was very interesting and passionate about the city and it's history/ treasures. We walked to many sights that would have been impossible to find on our own. Well worth it!
