Louise Kennedy was our tour guide for the Crypts and Catacombs and she WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I will never forget the tour and the information she gave us. If you love history and intrigue, THIS TOUR IS FOR YOU!! Thank you so much Louise, my mother and I had an unforgettable evening with you.
We unfortunately didn't make it to the ghost and mystery walking tour.
Our guide was American and very Cris Angel like, he was a fabulous entertainer and very knowledge about the stopping spots along the way.
WOW!! Super cool tour! Great guide and the crypts were amazing to walk through.

A great value! So happy to have found this tour and that it was our introduction to Rome.
For the Skip-the-Line Crypts and Catacombs tour, we were directed to Piazza Bernini at the Triton fountain were there was other groups meeting up at the same time. It got a little confusing, but as soon as everyone got checked in, it was all good. According to our host, the tour group was larger than expected and offered guests refunds or to book for another date.
Everything in the description of the tour was delivered, and of the 3 sites we visited, the Capuchin Crypt was amazing.
For the Ghost and Mystery Walking Tour, we met our host Sabrina on the steps of the SantAndrea della Valle at 9pm. Very fitting. Our animated host shared a lot of history of the popes and city, and interesting, spooky stories at Campo deFiori, Castel SantAngelo and Santa Maris dellOrazione e Morte.
The ended close to midnight around the same location from where we started.
Really great experience. Tour guides were passionate and very informative.
Very interesting! Wish we could have gotten pictures, but no pics in Catacombs! Mystery Walking Tour was very interesting! John was originally from the US and has such a PASSION for the telling of the history and such knowledge! Had a wonderful time!
Both tour guides were terrific and the tours were interesting. We enjoyed both tours
This trip was truly fantastic, our guides, Melanie and John were great, really bought everything to life and really knew thier stuff. Both tours were interactive, informative and fun. They could easily be double the length as I really felt we did not even scratch the surface of the places.
Peter was a great tour guide for the crypts and catacombstour. It was really interesting, and a wonderful bus between sites, and all the sites were so worth visiting. Added a great dimension to our travelsin Rome.
Blitch was a superlative guide for our evening tour. Such drama, such history, such information. We were so sorry when it ended. Saw Rome at night which was wonderful, and added to the whole atmosphere. Will definitely do more of these.
Rome has a lot of architecture and beauty to see, we do not always know what has meaning or what the meaning is. This tour looked deeper than Romes glossy exterior and more in to its history, the monks and what lies beneath.
What a wonderful look deep into and under ROME. The monetary mortuary art work with such deep meaning carefully crafted showing hope. Our guide Valentina was fantastic and very knowledgeable welcoming and happy to advise even regarding places to eat. The moving scenes of the catacombs and knowing that under us were another 3 - 4 levels of carefully crafted places to rest loved ones. The ghost walk was phenomenal! again another fantastic knowledgeable guide Sabrina please forgive me if the names are or have been spelt incorrectly who not only acted out the stories but guided us with visual aids and deep description.
we visited the museum with the mortuary art, the catacombs, st Clements Basilica and a ghost walk in this price. We made friends with other travellers and have many memories and stories to re-tell. Praise to all the guides most accommodating giving maps and ensuring we got home. both guides 5 A
The first tour started at 2.30pm and we had Alessandra as our guide. She was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, which made the experience so much fun! We took a bus to the three location, and saw some pretty cool things that you probably can't see anywhere else at least not in the United States. Unfortunately we couldn't take any photos, but that's okay because we were forced to be in the moment.
Our evening tour stared at 9.15pm with Blitch as our tour guide. Walked around and definitely learned new things about Rome that we wouldn't have from our other tours. Pretty spooky, but not scared for my life.
It was fun!!0

Both tours was the best tours ever. More enthusiasm of our guides Ahmald 5171930 Crypts and Catacombs and Sabpis 5172321 Ghost and Mystery walking tour we couldnt wish!
Lot of historical informations. Lot of interesting stories. Lot of valued momories from Rome and thanks for that these guides!!!
Take a warmer jacket with you and enjoy professional care of your entertaining!
This was our second tour in Rome with tour guide, Claudia. She is awesome - I would take a tour just because of her. But, the crypts and catacombs were fascinating and St. Clements was amazing. I recommend this tour.
Fantastic tour, guide Mike was excellent as was the evening Ghost Tour. Well done.
This was a great combined tour. The meeting place was very easy to find, and the tour operators were on time and very nice and polite. A coach collected us and we went to the Catacombs, the journey taking us outside the old town walls. we only had to wait for 5 minutes or so before going underground to the catacombs. They were amazing! so many hollowed out areas for the bodies, and 19km of tunnels in this one catacomb! The bodies are no longer there, but the peace and stillness down there gave it a real eerie feel.
From the catacombs we went to a church in order to see 3 different levels of building from 3 different centuries, the earliest being the 1st century. Fascinating to know that buildings were just filled in and then built on top of when they wanted to build a new one. Apparently the depth of buildings all over Rome is so deep that the 3rd leg of the underground that they are building has so far taken 27 years because they keep coming across remains of buildings, the latest one being a Roman soldiers dormitory. Each archeological find has to be explored before they can continue with the underground.
From the church we went to a crypt where the bones of about 3000 Fransiscan friars have been used in 5 different rooms as a display. You see the leg and arm bones in big piles, and the skulls and rib bones making patterns on the ceiling and on various shelves. Quite a remarkable sight, and it is difficult to believe that they are actually real bones. In some cases, bodies have been mummified too. We had to be careful not to knock anything off, as under a law made since the displays were done, body parts are no longer allowed to be made into displays, and anything knocked off or displaced would not be able to be put back. There is also a museum at the crypt which you go through to see the rooms, and we were able to go back to there after the tour of the rooms, as it is not part of the guided tour. A fascinating tour to see how the dead were dealt with all those years ago!
We then had about 4 hours before the mystery walking tour - plenty of time to get a meal and walk to the next meeting point. Our guide for this tour was excellent. She was so passionate about everything that she spoke about, and the range of what we were shown was great. The tour centred on historical residents of Rome, with stories about them all. The tour should have lasted about 80 minutes, but our guide was so enthusiastic that we were with her for at least 2 hours. Great value! If you go on this tour, watch out for those watching you! You will find out what I mean!
Really interesting, if a little creepy at times. Well worth doing.
Brilliant although we didn't go on the walking tour as I felt unwell with a horrendous cold and it threatened rain.... but the first part with the Capuchin museum and the chapels filled with ornaments of bones was just mind blowing... Not macabre when you hear the reasoning behind it and the beliefs.... the church on 3 levels was absolutely amazing and such an example of the archaeological lasagna that they speak of in Rome... the catacombs was fantastic too... we got there on a coach which took about 20 mins but our guide told us facts and stories to pass the time... BEWARE the toilets at the catacombs.... yuck..... all in all i would recommend as a very interesting and informative tour... well worth the money
Very interesting tour and both tour guides were absolutely lovely and entertaining!

Fantastic guides, extreemely knowledgable and incredibly cultured. Barkam 816662 was our first guide, she was professional and great at telling the stories. We had Amanda in the evening very charming and full of energy, and the stories she told where coming alive as she was telling them, fabulous.
Amazing! Great amount of information provided by 2 very lovely and lively guides. Only regretted not having done this tour right at the beginning of being in Rome.
