What a way to experience the backstreets and outlying sites . Zipping from piazza to piazza with our knowledgeable guide making regular stops to explain what we were seeing was exhilirating. Lunch was very good and the Gelato stop was a real surprise: i dont normally do ice-cream but the extensive range of flavours extended to the fascinating. This is a must do.
SO AMAZING!!! Highly highly recommend, Imke was absolutely incredible. We had signed up for a group tour but ended up only being the two of us so it was a private group with our amazing guide. We got to spend as much time as we wanted at the sites that interested us and had a fun girls day riding around Rome : Lunch was phenomenal and we ended up going there again at the end of our trip!
The best day or our Europe trip. The only way to see really see Rome is on a bike, and this tour let us see just about everything. Bruno our guide had a Masters in History, and his knowledge and insight really brought Ancient Rome alive for us.This tour was so complete, we cancelled our Hop-on-Hop-off bus tour the next day, as we had already visited every stop! Instead, we went back and rented bikes on our own so we could revisit our favorite places. Can not recommend highly enough...you must do this!
A great way to see the City and get a feel for all those things weve half read and half understood.
Bruno our guide was a really good host.
The electric bikes are very good.
It was truly an amazing day. A fantastic way to see the city. We got to see parts that we would never have seen unless we lived in Rome. Emanuele our guide was informative, erudite, funny and really added to the tour by giving his own personal views to what we were seeing and the Italian condition. Lunch was fantastic, the ice cream was amazing and we had the best coffee I have ever tasted. If you have a spare day in Rome, I highly recommend doing this, it's brilliant.
We did a 6 hour bike tour of all the major sites in Rome. A fun experience to see it all in one day. The tour guide and the rental bike company were excellent. We stopped at a quaint restaurant for lunch. The electric bike was easy to operate.
My fiance and I went on this electric bike tour and lived it! We saw so much, ate a fantastic lunch, learned about the history of Rome. Ended a perfect day with gelato in a quaint place. I would highly recommend this tour.
Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. Rik, our guide, was great. He knew and loved his history and it was infectious.
The electric bikes were a dream to ride, you could ride as hard or easy as you like.
It was crazy how much we saw and what was fitted into the tour, including a leisurely lunch of pizza or pasta and a beer or wine.
We also stopped for a gelato !!
Great fun, and our host Bruno was the best! So much history AND he helped us find the perfect soccer jersey for our son. Also the trattoria we ate lunch at was the best meal for the entire trip. Fabulous!
This was THE BEST tour we took in Rome (and we did 4!) The bikes are easy to use and the sights are absolutely incredible. You get to go places you wouldn't think to see and it's great to go through the narrow alleyways on bike. Highly recommend! If we go back to Rome we will do this again.
A bike tour is a great way to see Rome. Even though my partner and i did this in Aug 2017 and 39 degree heat, it was very enjoyable! Our guide was brilliant, tall blonde guy, I can't remember his name! A German I think, living in Italy...he was excellent. The bikes were electric assisted but mine was faulty and the assistance kept going off, so I basically did the tour manually! I did inform the guide when it started and he suggested a swap but i preferred to stick with my bike as i needed the exercise! I loved it, but I realise some people may not, if they had to manually do the tour! Just double check your bike electric panel is ok as the constant jiggling on all the cobbled streets made mine go off every minute. No one else's bike was faulty though. A great way to see the inner streets with beer/wine and pasta/pizza plus ice cream and water included. You see a lot!
My husband and I loved this tour! It was one of our favorite days on our trip. The electric bike is very easy to ride, and it allows you to see so much more in one day than you could while walking. Our guide, Riq, was excellent! He was very nice and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.
I haven't ridden a bike in a while, so this tour was a challenge. Maneuvering the crowds of pedestrians, the cars, trucks and crossing the streets, made it downright nerve-racking! As I got more comfortable with the bike, I started to enjoy the ride.
The price of this tour is so worth it. It included a delicious, sumptuous lunch with drinks, and gelato! Yes!
Our guide, Michael, was very knowledgeable. He knew the ins and outs of the city. He explained everything clearly. He was handsome, too!
Easy to use bikes for any age and fitness level, entertaining and informative guide shows you many major sites and tells you about them, the Rome in a Day 7ish hour bike tour does take its toll on your rear if not used to biking a lot we toured on a hot day in July so that may also have been a factor, nice way to spend the day even if HOT since you are always moving along, pricey but really a good value if you consider what you are getting
Brilliant day out. RIk ( our guide) was a true historian and hugely knowledgeable. This was the highlight of our trip. All these positive reviews are wholly justified. Thanks.
So incredible! The electric bikes made it very easy to get around after lunch. :D Our guide, Jesse, was very knowledgable and passionate about the beautiful city of Rome. This was definitely the highlight of our time spent in this beautiful city!
Everyone should take this tour on their first day in Rome. There is just so much to see in this city that you will inevitably miss out on things if you are only getting around on foot. Rome is also extremely hilly, of course, so you will absolutely need the electric assist. Our guide Frederico was amazing he not only shared great insight behind Rome's history but was also great in leading the pack around the city and through some of the more crowded alleys. By the end of the trip, we were sad to return the bikes and thanks to the electric assist, we were able to continue walking around the city for hours as we weren't sore or tired.
The electric bikes are so much fun to use. The tour guides were wonderful. Loved it!

Great day out good info great guide. Time flew by and we saw so many things that we wouldn't have seen if we hadn't had the bikes
What an Amazing way to see Rome,we hit all the highlights and more our guide Fredrico was so knowledgable about roman history. We biked down back roads away from crowds for the most part, great photo stops lunch was awesome too! Biking through Rome was a highlight of my six week trip.
It was a very nice, informative tour. You see all the major attractions and get some nice work out. Amazing how Rome feels on bike :). Lunch was on spot. The cafe was very cosy. But all this wouldn and #39;t be possible without the awesome guide. Highly recommend. DO IT!
Best way to see Rome!! This was the most amazing day riding around on bikes. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and very nice. I highly recommend doing this tour, especially if you are only in Rome for a short trip.
