This had to have been the best tour ive ever taken. Our guide was so friendly and informative. She involved everyone and kept us entertained. The headsets were excellent and we could hear her even from far away. I would highly recommend her!!!!

The Colosseum was really crowded but the Forum and Palantine Hill were wonderful. It was so nice to skip the long lines.

A must do tour when in Rome. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes. Only suggestion would be to do the small group version to get an even better expierence.

This tour was fabulous! Our guide was great, she is a working archaeologist, so was extremely knowledgeable and her stories made the tour very entertaining! She also had depictions of what some of the ruins would have looked like, which I found very interesting!

We only took this tour because there weren't any only Colosseum tours during that time but we enjoyed seeing the Roman Forum and Palantine Hill. Our tour guide tried his best to keep us out of the sun, and the tour was under 3 hours long. The highlight for us besides the Colosseum was getting to see the place they cremated Julius Caesar. Bring a hat and look for century old water fountains for cold and sweet Roman water.

This was by far my favorite tour with Viator. Our guide was great and soooo knowledgeable. The whole time I was walking around feeling like I was reliving all the experiences she was describing at every point on the tour. Be prepared to walk!!! This is a very very long tour and although is so worth it and I wouldn't change anything, we were exhausted after the 3 hours that took to go through all of it!
Highly recommend to take this tour!

Excellent tour!! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and also funny. She showed the tour group all there was to see in the Colosseum as well as the Roman Forum and Palantine Hill. The only problem with this tour was the fact that it was very hot out.

3 star rating: Worth doing October 2016

The tour guide was 35 minutes late. The tour did not meet the expectation as it's title describes.

1 star rating: I do not recommend this July 2016

Our tour was more effected by the heat than we were. She stopped constantly for rests. There were 2 people on our tour who were not up to the walking tour so she was constantly talking to them and telling them over and over where to go and wait for us... On the 3 hour tour that was actually 2.5 hours she spent about 30 minutes talking to these 2 people. Most of the tour members wandered off by themselves and read the explanations of the sites themselves... Her explanations about fhe ruins were basic and best, inadequate at worst. The tour guide often struggled to find the English words to explain herself.
