My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's, with our guide, who was friendly and very knowledgeable. The waiting time to get in was minimal. We were a small group of six people so making our way through the crowds was very easy.

We opted for this tour because we knew it would be a small group, but we had the blessing of being the only two! Rossella was superb. Her knowledge of the history and art brought everything to life for us.

5 star rating: Highly Recommended April 2016

I met the large group on time and there were 3 tour guides: I soon found out I was the only one for the English tour so I had the Fabulous Fabiana all to myself for my morning tour. She was an art historian who not only was passionately informative about the art but told me stories about the artist's history with the church and with the Pope. I now know more about Michelangelo and understand his life work and his relationship to the church and his glorious chapel as I could not know without her expansive teaching. I learned about the fervent collector his Pope was, as he preserved History for the rest of us. We went through the Holy Door together a special Jubilee Year sacred ritual and it was very
meaningful and she did not hesitate to allow me that meaning. She seemed to know many other tour guides and was greeted with hugs and smiles which only added to my trust and her warmth. I would look for her again. She and her fellow colleagues have started a new company and I hope this review encourages others to find her company and see The Museum through her eyes!

Serena Giuliani, Ph.D. provided an excellent tour weaving archeology, history, religion, and art to explain the Vatican museums and St. Peter's Basilica. She is a highly skilled teacher, presenting information in an intelligent manner and checking for understanding from her participants. The two of us were extremely fortunate to have her as our personal guide as we wove our way through the masses. Because of her delightful personality, we enjoyed and gained more understanding of these incomparable works of art and architecture. We highly recommend the tour and make sure to ask for Serena Giuliani.

3 star rating: Worth doing August 2016

Too much history about articles in Vatican. Too Too crowded and tour guide kept us and talked about every history lesson. Thought we were in school. Not for people with walking problems. Would have just liked to have walked and looked at our own pace.
