Just returned from a great, first time trip to Rome. We had two guides, Jean-Luc Colosseum and Matthew Forum that provided great details about the history of the sites as well as other relevant and interesting information. These tours are a great way to see the sites and get information along the way. I learned so much more than if I had gone alone. Both guides were interesting, friendly and informative.

Despite the freezing cold - our tour was brilliant. Informative and with lots of little bits of information you wouldn't get if you didn't take the tour.

I visited with my teenage children. I wanted to do the Underground Tour but waited too long to get tickets and it was sold out for the entire time we were in Rome. This was the next best tour still available. We arrived via Metro at the Colosseo station about 30 minutes early, since I wasn't sure how long it would take to get there. The green kiosk is right outside the Metro and very prominent. The tour guides for the reserved tours all know each other and are very good at helping you find the correct group. Tour in the City had a sign in a standard page protector, similar to many other tour companies. Samuele was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable. We did the tour first thing in the morning on a cold December day about 40F. Most of the tour is in the shade, so it was extremely cold, even though it was a bright sunny day. I wish we had worn an additional layer. After the guided part of the tour is over, you can still roam around on your own inside the Colosseum and there is access to the same level as the floor, but not the new platform. Still closer to the floor level than 20 years ago, the last time I was in the Colosseo. The ticket I received from Samuele also provided admission to Foro Romano to explore on our own anytime in the next 2 days. We did not receive the free tickets for any of the kids in our group, including my two teenagers. When we got to Foro Romano, they wanted the free kids tickets to scan and said the guide was supposed to also give us the kids tickets. He had a child ticket and scanned it for both of mine. Apparently this has been an issue in the past. Foro Romano wants the kids to have their tickets to scan, even though they are free. Overall, this ticket was really worth it, although there are signs inside the Colosseo, there are not many so it provides that extra bit of information so you really know what you are looking at. But I felt it was just the right balance, not too much information. I preferred to explore Foro Romano on our own, so this worked out great!

It was a very good tour and we had a small group of only 13. Guide took his time explaining things and answering questions. Was supposed to be 1 hr tour, but ended up being 1 1/2 hrs. Well worth the price and they even got us ahead of some other groups that had skip the line tickets. They ticket they gave us allowed us 2 days access to Colosseum, forum, and couple other sites,
