Always a good idea to get out early and beat the crowds. We had two great guides, inside and outside the Coleseo. Beautiful walk through history at the Forum. Well worth the money.

This tour did not miss a level!! it was a thorough Colosseum tour from bottom to top. The tour guide was entertaining and we loved ending the tour at the top of the colosseum with only a small number of other guest. The 4th floor is not open the the public. We were also excited it included the ticket to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill that we could complete on our own.

Five stars for Jaber, four stars for for tour operator. Jaber was an incredible guide (has been leading tours over 40 years). Knows everything. Sharp, funny, etc... I wish the tour company would have told us we would not be able to go underground at the Colosseum (due to overnight rain) in the morning when I texted them. We did not find out until we arrived and that is why we paid the extra money.

Great experience although I would have preferred if the tour remained as a small group. Once we entered the Colosseum we were grouped with a much larger group for the underground tour with the archaeologist.

Having access to the full tour of the Colosseum was definitely an exceptional experience. Our guide, from Tours of Rome, was very knowledgeable of the site in all respects. We went from the underground areas below the arena floor all the way to the highest levels of public access. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it.

Our tour guide was a very cute, intelligent, energetic, and interesting young Italian gentleman. He made the tour even more interesting by showing illustrations of the ruins that he was discussing related to the Colosseum and the neighboring ruins. It was very interesting. This young man was a trooper because it was not easy being out in the heat on August 6, 2018 but he kept us all engaged until the end of the tour. He also spoke excellent English and was funny on top of that! Really excellent tour.

We booked a VIP private tour for no more than 24 people, about 10 days in advance. There days before tour co emailed saying we could not have the complete tour only BUT that they will try to accommodate us at a different time; they did were able to give us the whole tour including the new sections just opened 2018 at 11:45am which was scorching hot, but worth it. The organization, punctuality, knowledge and patience of the guides were fun and first class.

This was a small group tour that took us to the arena floor and underground the Colosseo as well as up to the second level, followed by a visit to the Roman Forum. After meeting our guide, Franz took us straight through the Colosseum without having to wait and once inside gave us the history behind it also showing us recreated pictures of how it would have looked in its prime as we walked through. Seeing the Colosseum from every level was great, especially the underground chambers and arena floor. Franz was an amazing guide - very friendly and knowledgeable and guided us through both sites without any hassles and spoke fluent English. Be prepared to do a lot of walking, it is best to book the morning tour as it gets scorching hot in the afternoon in the summer.

Value for money! Far better than all the tours my friends have experienced during their stay in Rome and visit to Colosseum. Mido, our guide, till the official monument guide took his place, was more than friendly! He explained everything!! Thanks Mido!
