More than a cooking day we had a short tour of Rome and a shop in the market. The venue was great and we finished with lunch which included wine. The whole day very well ran and the chef was very nice. The assistant could do with a little training. For example taking the knife and fork out of someone's hands whilst eating because she wants to wash up isn't great customer service but the rest of it was so good that it's hard to mark down. Highly recommended.
This cooking class was excellent. Quick tour of market and shopping for the meal, followed by fun cooking in a great apartment. Everything was delicious and I'll definitely start making my own pasta at home. Highly recommend.
What a good cooking class. It began at ou meeting point, the chef Paolo and his assistant Nicolette were wainting for us. We were only 6 that day. We walked to Campo dei fiori to buy our vegtebles, fruits, meet and other things to prepare the meal. We had some tasting at some shops, very good. After we walked to the appartment Marlon Brandon use to stay there when he was making movies in Rome. It was so beautiful, situated on the Isola Tiberina. We had Prosecco and prepared 3 types of pastas and dessert and Paolo prepared the meet and vegtables for us. The quality of the ingredients were incredible and the taste..... WOW ! We had a lot of fun, he his funny and charming, we had a great time and highly recommand to take this cooking class.
Absolutely amazing class! We had so much fun shopping in the market for fresh ingredients! The apartment that we cooked in was amazing. We laughed, drank wine and learned new techniques. The best part was that the class only had 8 people. It was very intimate and so much fun to enjoy the meal together. The highlight of our trip!
My family enjoyed the class but hoped for more actual hands-on cooking. the food was delicious.

This was the best tour/cooking class I have ever taken. Mary was knowledgeable, funny, patient, and an amazing chef. The tour started out with the group determining a menu, strolling to the local market and buying fresh food, and then heading to a loft on the Tevere River to prepare an incredible meal. Wine was plentiful throughout the class and eating our incredible food as a group was the perfect end to a great day! I'd highly recommend this class and if I'm ever in Rome again this would be top on my list to do again.

Loved the instructor. Visiting market and walking through Jewish ghetto was very educational. Cooking class was definitely hands on and lunch was great. One of the best things we did in Rome.
FABULOUS TOUR! Chef Monica was personable, fun, good with the kids and professional! We were with a small group of 12 that included kids close in age to my 10 and 11 year old as well as couples and families. This meal was, by far, our best tasting and experience in our 16 days in Italy ! bravo!
Everything was perfect. Beautiful kitchen and very informative chef and assistants. Making pasta was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend this tour.
This was a blast! Our chef and her helper were fantastic. The food was amazing and the wine was plentiful! We met new friends and I have to say, the best cooking class I have ever taken in Italy!
Incredible! Had a wonderful time! The Chef was delightful. You start off with a trip to a beautiful market and pick up your ingredients. The walk is beautiful and very enjoyable. The lesson is leisurely...plenty of time to ask questions and learn. And you do learn so much. T

We had a fantastic day and Paolo was engaging and taught us all many different things-from taking us to the open market, a meat shop and cheese shop, a bakery and had some fantastic pizza and then explained the area as we walked to the kitchen where we all learned/participated in how to make several different pastas and sauces. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Rome!
My cooking class in Rome was exceptional. I was very fortunate that I was a class of one. Chef Paolo treated the class as i would expect any other even with only one student. We shopped for our ingredients at interesting places including Campo del Fiori. As an experienced cook, I can say I learned several new techniques and as a class of one got to perform a lot of the prep work. Much fun. The recipies were all excellent. Could not finish all the courses on the menu, but tasted everything. I would recommend this experience to family and friends and already have.
This was a terrific tour. Paulo, Nicholetta and Marco were wonderful guides and we had a lot of fun going to the market and doing the food prep for the outstanding meal. Only change I would suggest is to also let us do some of the actual cooking, too.

Our chef Paulo is clearly a talented chef and was a great teacher. The three experienced cooks in our group all picked up many new skills and ideas and the meal we helped to prepare was among the best I have had in my month in Rome.
This was so much fun!!! I had way too much wine while we were cooking so I don't remember everything but from what I do remember and from watching my videos later and looking at my photos I can tell you that I had a great time!!! We met our chef Martina in the morning and went to the farmers market to do our shopping. There were just four of us in the class and I think that is a perfect size. We walked to the house where we had our cooking lesson. I had read a review where someone said it took 45 minutes. It actually took about 10 minutes. The home was lovely and really well equipped for our class. We started drinking and cooking. They keep the wine coming. : We made three different types of pasta from scratch. We made a meat dish and we made dessert. It was all wonderful but you are absolutely stuffed by the time you get leave. There is no way you could possibly eat everything you make. After you leave there you can go to the owner's restaurant and pick up your little board that you use to make one of the pastas that we made. I have to admit I don't remember much about this at all. : We took a cab there with our new best friends Matt and Charlotte who were in the class with us. We met at 9:15 in the morning and we were done around 2:00. I wish I could emphasize more what a great time this class was. There is no pressure to do anything just right. It is very laid back and they do all of the cleaning up. : Later in the week I took a tour to the Amalfi Coast and I met 5 other people who had also taken this class and they agreed that it was one of the best times they had in Rome also. So, it isn't just the wine talking. :
Fabulous tour with hosts, Martina and Nicoletta! They greeted us promptly at 9am and took us to the market while providing us background of the sites and culture. Martina is an expert Michelin 3 chef who gave us direction on the best foods to choose for our lesson. Martina and Nicoletta work well together while exchanging humor and instructions to the group. We made 3 types of homemade pasta that were beyond delicious and a veal entree too. If only they were in my kitchen now to guide me with their skill! The day past quickly as we had so much enjoyment in the 5 hours with them. Sincerely thank you for a spectacular cooking day, the chef Martina and Nicoletta! Buon appetito!
This was a great tour to take while in Rome. Nicolina and Martina were fantastic hosts and I learned a lot throughout the day. We started by going to the market and we learned a little about the food we'd be using. Then, we went to a beautiful apartment to cook. We made 3 different kinds of pasta, a veal dish they accommodated for vegetarians and a dessert, which was absolutely delicious. It was definitely worth the money and a good morning spent in Rome.
