We loved this tour. It was so easy, much easier than if we tried to rent a car etc.. Our tour guides we great, learned so much about Pompeii and the Amalfi coast. We also got lots of inside tips on gelato, tipping, spotting non tourist trap restaurants etc which was great

Left at 7 AM and back at 8:30 but saw amazing Amalfi coast and Pompeii. Barbara was a great tour guide and the driver did a great jog of navigating difficult roads.

I relied heavily on reviews when booking this trip because it was such a time commitment. I was 100 percent satisfied with the entire experience from meeting, to the drive, to the tour of Pompeii, to the time in Positano. It was such a fantastic way to go to these places in one day and maximize my time in Rome. I was in a group of about 12 people, the bus was comfortable and, and i got out of it exactly what I wanted. I opted for a dip in the ocean in Positano - brought my suit, changed into it in the beach bathroom, took a dip, and changed back out of it after a quick rinse. They stop for 2 hours in Positano so there was enough time for pizza after. The guide was superior and she really took care of us. Thank you!

I really wanted to go to the amalfi coast but not Pompeii but I couldn’t find a tour for that day and I’m so happy we took this one, got to see two incredible places there was a lot of traffic on our way to amalfi but our guide Roberta was very pleasant and informative gave us lots of tips on places to visit, where to eat, night life etc, while in Rome, it’s a long day but so worth it

Pompei is an experience that takes you back 2000 years. It is well worth the time, energy, and surge of people. I would recommend doing this tour (if possible) off season, but know that is difficult. The true experience of seeing into the past and getting there- the guide was knowledgeable and friendly, more than that she enjoyed the tour as we enjoyed the explaination. Nothing against Positano, but it is not what it was 20 years ago- to many tourist for such a small place. Go there on your own and try really try to avoid the crowd.

We started the day by loading onto the 15 passenger bus where our guide, Sabrina, informed us all about the places we were driving past. She was full of wonderful knowledge and kept us very entertained on the 3hr drive! We drove along the Amalfi coast and stopped in Positano for a little over 2hrs. We had time for lunch, a swim in the sea, and a bit of shopping before we got back on the bus to head toward Pompeii. We met our guide, Paulo, and he was amazing! He kept my husband and I entertained and laughing the entire tour. We learned so much on this tour. We highly recommend!

We went on this day trip from Rome on our last day of our photography trip to Tuscany. It was our only chance to see the Amalfi Coast and Positano, together with Pompeii. It was very special. We left very early from a cafe that opened at 6:30 am, so we could get coffee and a little breakfast. The guide did a great job for the 14 of us on the minibus. She talked for a while and then we all slept until the first stop at a large roadside rest stop, after an hour and a half. Then on to a wonderful drive along the coast, and then lunch in Positano. We knew we could not get back up to the bus if we walked all the way down to the beach, so we had a very nice lunch at Ristorante Max. Some of the group had a really hard time hiking back up. But the vertical town is charming and fun even if you don't get all the way down to the beach. Then we had a hot and humid, but excellent, guided tour of Pompeii. Returned to Rome about 8:30 pm.

It was a long day, but everything was well planned out. Saw the Sorrento coast and the Amalfi coast in the morning and the Pompeii in the afternoon. Frederico on th bus and Paolo in Pompeii were great guides. They made it a fun and lively day. Our driver, Fabio, drove safely and in control. Not something that is common in Italy.

This was hands down the best tour we took on our recent visit to Italy! Be prepared, it is a LONG day, starting early 7:15 AM and getting back to Rome at 8:30 PM. Our tour guide Francasca? was absolutely the best in Pompeii, so knowledgeable! The drive along the Amalfi coast is beautiful and heart stopping at the same time. The stop in Positano was long enough to get lunch, take a few pictures, pop your head into a shop our two, but enjoyable.
