Morgan was amazing! This tour was THE BEST part of our trip! The food was delicious and it was a real treat to go to the places that are less touristy. She also taught how to tell the quality of the food, recommended great restaurants and was super knowledgeable to answer any questions we had. If we could rate this tour even higher we would!

Having read Trip Advisor reviews we decided to do the recommended thing and book our Foodie tour experience on our first morning in Rome. It was definitely the right thing to do. The morning was well planned, the venues chosen for us to visit were very varied, we were not rushed and Morgan our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. If you enjoy your food, this is a must.

My husband and I were in Rome on our honeymoon, and we did this tour on our last day there. We should have done this the instant we arrived in Rome! So much fun, and we learned so much! We did the morning tour, starting at 10:30am, and there were only 3 people on our tour: my husband and me, and one other. And our tour guide Raluca was just fabulous! She made us feel so welcome and at home. And the food was to die for! I don't know how they find these places, but it was amazing! Again, I wish we had done this tour the instant we got to Rome, that we we knew what REAL Italian food was! All the places she took us were just incredible, and everyone was so friendly...and when they found out it was our Honeymoon, they surprised us with a bottle of sparkling wine that was literally sparkling! We would recommend this tour to anyone who loves to eat!

This is the best tour that I took in Rome. Our guide was so interesting and so knowledgeable. We went to so many good food places. She introduced us to so many interesting foods and places to find them. This is one tour in Rome you don't want to miss.

I will start off by saying that like many reading, I was cautious of a tour I found by googling: Best food tour Rome. However you can believe the reviews and the hype. Trionfale foodie tour was the highlight of our trip. Jess was a kind and warm host and guide, who not only has a fascinating life story she is willing to share, but an excitement and knowledge of food that is second to none and that she is more than willing to share.

There is obviously plenty of food on the tour which I will not talk about as I'm sure other reviewers do that, and it's all excellent, but what you really get with this tour is a slice of the Italian life. I wish every tourist could get the experience of this food tour on day 1 it's a wonderful orientation to what Italians eat and how they live, and ultimately I think I learned as much about Italy from this tour as I could from any guide book.

More about Jess: she is unbelievably enthusiastic and welcoming. She is hilarious and has a genuine warmth you will not be bored for a moment. By the end of the tour, she was more of a friend than a guide.

Sometime after the fact but must recommend this tour that we so enjoyed during our stay in Rome August!. Jess was our passionate about good food guide with a bubbly enthusiasm for sharing her love and knowledge of the best artisanal eating in this city..and sis and I had her all to ourselves! Other reviewers have noted, in detail, the places you will visit and in the order documented as per the given information offered on this site. It is accurate and covers a day in the life of good Italian eating starting with the morning coffee and canolli and onward to lunch at a delightful family run restaurant and the especially delightful Mama at the helm. Then all the delicious visits and tasting in between. At the market and various visited venues, I noticed the appreciative regard that the shopkeepers had toward Jess and not without good reason. She is showcasing the real deal which could be in danger of becoming a bit of a lost art in our face paced, industry food society increasingly dominated by profit orientated, feed the masses corporations. So do your bit peoples and appreciatively enjoy. The pizzas will have you wondering why you would ever bother with McDonalds! The tour is well timed to give sufficient moments to try the samples that will be ready for you and, where it is timely to do so,have a bit of a look around. We tried and then bought some delicious meat slices at the market we visited. If we got the chance to revisit this city, would definitely look up this tour again.

This tour was absolutely perfect and well worth the money! When we met our guide we found out that we were the only 2 going on the tour, which was awesome! Our own personal tour! Raluca, our guide, was so much fun and had the best laugh! We ate a TON of food and all of it was absolutely delicious. The tour is vegetarian friendly as well. Some examples include a small breakfast of cannoli and coffee, the best pizza I have ever had, eggplant parmesan, buffalo mozzarella along with many other cheeses, and quite a few wine samples. At one point we were taken to a market where we had food samples and wine. The wine, was so delicious, yet super cheap about 3 euros I think? so we ended up buying another 2L to take back to our accommodation. Just when we thought we couldn't possibly eat anymore, we were taken for lunch. Gnocchi, ravioli, calamari, and a full bottle of wine were served. And as a wonderful surprise a bottle of Prosecco was brought out for us because we had become engaged a few days before. Then as a last stop we had gelato! If we ever go back to Rome, I would love to do this tour again!

This is a must for Rome. If you are spending a few days in Rome book this on your first day. You will eat so much better for the rest of your stay if you know what you are doing - both in terms of cost AND taste. Our tour guide Jess, was outstanding, both passionate and knowledgeable. The pace is not too fast so don't worry about the walking part of it. Will definately do it again if we ever go back just to experience the tastes!!

This tour was a definite highlight of my trip to Rome! Morgan was a great guide and she shows so much care for the origins of all the food we tasted on the tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone, especially because most of the places visited were local gems a bit out of the way of the main tourist spots. Great for solo travelers like myself!

Amazing. This was my very favorite thing I did in all of Rome. I would say this is a must-do while you are visiting Rome. Racluca was the perfect guide. Also, you should do this on one of your first days in Rome so you can return to all the delicious places!
