Perhaps the best part of our entire trip to Italy! What a perfect way to get the real flavor of this incredible city. And we cannot say enough great things about Jess, our tour guide. Her knowledge of the intricacies of Italian food was topped only by her tremendous personality and passion for her profession. From Bonci's unique Pizzarium to the inimitable Paciotti Salumeria, this was a truly perfect four hours in a wonderfully local part of Rome. ABSOLUTELY recommend this tour to everyone!

I really can't say enough about this tour! We had a small group, but somehow that made the experience more intimate. Every stop was an event, which was exactly the desired outcome of the guide, Jess. Her enthusiasm for food and wine was contagious! Well done Jess, it was certainly one of our highlights of Rome! make sure your mom knows you're the best guide ever

Our whole family, including two teenagers, loved this tour. Our guide Raluca was awesome - very energetic and with a real passion for food. We were glad we did this our first day in Rome - she gave us lots of great tips about where to eat and where not to eat, how to order, etc. And the food we had throughout the tour was all amazing - coffee and cannoli, cheese with truffle paste, aged balsamic, prosciutto, pizza, pasta, buffalo mozzarella and risotto balls from the market, and gelato including how to tell real gelato from fake gelato from powder, it was all amazing and I am forgetting several things!. We were stuffed by the end. All the stops were fairly close together, so there was not too much walking longest distance was maybe 10 minutes, but most were 3-4 minutes from each other. And she did a great job handling some of our family with special dietary restrictions one vegetarian, one nut allergy. We highly recommend this tour.

This was our favorite tour by far in all of Italy, and our only regret was that we didn't do it the very first day we were there! Raluca, our guide, was so friendly and such a wealth of information. We started with breakfast in the morning, consisting of a fresh Canoli and coffee, where she blew us away with her depth of knowledge on the history and production of Roman cuisine. As she took us from restaurant to trattoria to restaurant, we learned so much about the processes of wine production, cheese curing, truffle farming and much more- it was quite the crash course! We learned how to distinguish real gelato from the fake ones- something that would have been helpful our first day in Italy- as well as some local tips and tricks which were super helpful in saving money when ordering food or coffee. Her passion and joy for her field, along with the outstanding mix of flavors that we tried, made this tour such a pleasure. You will not leave dissatisfied, and you will definitely be full and feeling like you got every bit of your money's worth.

Jess took us for a food tour on June 29. What made this tour outstanding was not just the enormous range and quality of the foods and wines we tried, but the guide. Jess was passionate about Italian food and she knew details and truly understood and shared her knowledge enthusiastically. She was friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend Jess highly enough.

This food tour was absolutely amazing!! We were only in Rome for 2 days before setting out for our cruise and we wanted to eat as much food as possible before leaving and we were able to do just that! Not only was the food amazing but so was our tour guide. She was so personable and so nice. Her english was very well spoken and she kept us entertained the whole time. I highly recommend this company and this tour. Definitely worth every dollar.
