Our guide, Pamela, was very knowledgeable about both sites we went to. The lunch provided was quite good. The size of Hadrian's Villa is astounding. And the fountains at the Villa d'Este are breathtaking.

Brilliant...both the Villa d' Este and Hadrians villa are must see's Even the rain in the afternoon didn't spoil things. It actually made the decorative marble paths easier to see.

Outstanding trip! The tour guide was excellent. The trip went smoothly other than a small mishap on the bus due to traffic. Villa Adriana and Villa d'Este were both impressive. The tours were quite thorough, as I do not feel we missed anything. Free time at the sites was minimal, however. We did enjoy about thirty minutes of free time after lunch in the town, which provided ample time to explore the immediate area.

The included lunch was very good. The restaurant selected was close to Villa d'Este. The wait staff were friendly and the food and wine were very good.

I highly recommend this tour!

Jo was a great guide and we really enjoyed this day trip to Hadrian's Villa really a village and the Villa d'Este. There were about 17 of us on a comfortable bus and the day was well-organized. We were mostly interested in Hadrian's Villa and its history and Jo's commentary was wonderful and she answered all our questions we had time for a complete tour. The included lunch was good and Villa d'Este was an interesting part of the tour.

I took this tour with my mom, Viviana Carbonara was our guide, she is a very knowledgeable and intelligent lady.

Hadrian's Villa is an ancient archaeological site, even before Jesus Christ was born, Viviana with her interesting stories, she helped us live the moment, she simply took us back in time, we love history and she shared with us all the important information we needed to know about this place.

After Hadrian's villa we stopped for lunch, it was a typical Italian restaurant in Tivoli, the food was delicious and everything was perfect.

After that we went to Villa d'Este, another place with very beautiful gardens and fountains, Beautiful villa with very important paintings. Viviana patiently explained about each and every painting, about the different rooms.

I recommend you all to take this tour, as you will go back in time, these two places have different architectural designs.

Hopefully you will have Viviana as a guide, as she is an amazing person.

Thank you for everything.

If you have the time, this trip is not to be missed. Words can not describe the beauty that the eye will encounter. From the gardens, to the fountains, the water ponds, and the overall view, one can only stand in awe of all that you will see. Be prepared to for several stair cases and walking in order to see all that Tivoli has to offer.
