Nicole did an amazing job in showing the highlights of both locations and enriching my understanding and appreciation with background information. I can't stress it enough. Anyone can go to Hadrian's Villa and Villa D'Este and walk around, but it was the guide's context and knowledge that made the day the wonderful expereince it was. These places were built to be magical, transformative, and impressive and she gave us a lense through which to view them that way. Book with Rome Your Way, and ask for Nicole. You will not be disappointed!

This was one of the best days of our 3 weeks in Italy! Tivoli is beyond beautiful, the tour guide was interesting, the other guests we were a small group of about 6 or 8 was great fun. The lunch was one of the best meals!

Guide was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and informative. . So nice to be in a small group. Was pleasantly surprise to hear they only take groups of 7 they should have advertised that. I would have jumped on the tour. We got individual attention. Lunch was pleasant. I would recommend this tour

Highly recommended. We had a very enjoyable day. The gardens of Villa D'Este are breathtakingly beautiful. The lunch of lasagne, porchetta and salad was ordinary but gives the opportunity to chat with other travellers. The guide, Emanuela, was nothing short of brilliant as our tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable on the history of the Roman Emporers and the Popes. She was able to answer every question asked of her in great detail.

Lovely Tour. Lots of walking and steep stairs. Our guide, Michaela was very knowledgable. We had the opportunity to step outside of Rome proper for the day and it was worth it!

It was good to go from Rome to a less touristy place. The two places we visited are wonderful and have a lot of history, particularly Hadrian's Villa. It is an impressive place and the guide, Carmella, was very knowledgeable about the history and the social life during Hadrian's time. We found it to be very enjoyable and instructive. Villa d'Este is also nice, particularly the spectacular gardens. But it is a lot of levels and involves quite a climb on the way back. Despite this, it was very enjoyable.

We has an extraordinary day at Tivoli. Both the Guide and the driver gave the very best of their time and knowledge. We walked Hadrian's Villa listening to her account of the importance of the planning and construction of the Villa and to Hadrian's life. We has lunch at a Family Restaurant and continued to Villa d'Este. Walking with her, listening to the history and the lovely gardens and fountains. As we were leaving for Rome, we got an extra bonus, and took a ride to see the origins for the water which supplied the fountains in Villa d'Este. An extraordinary day.
