This was a terrific tour! Our guide Mariah not sure of spelling was GREAT!!! She was lots of fun, very bright and responsive to our questions and needs. She really helped with a method of keeping the information overload under control. A lovely person and fabulous teacher. Having an overview of these areas helped us in our return for more in-depth experiences. Our group of 5 women really loved it.

We had a private tour with Giuseppe, because we were the only one's on the tour. I could listen to him for days. He has such experience and presence. He was able to show us a 12th century church that is normally closed, it was a real treasure. His understanding of history and his ability to convey the importance and meaning has me thinking he might be a college professor somewhere in Rome. The tour was great and Giuseppe was delightful.

We had arrived early for this tour meeting the guide on the steps of the Gesu church. The rest of the group had cancelled so my husband and I had a personal tour. Being there very early meant we could start the tour in the church where at 17.30 every day a painting lights up and then it moves downwards to expose a golden statue. Wonderful and interesting start to our holiday in Rome. Lots of information on recommended restaurants and must see places to visit as well as learning about the Jewish quarters.

This tour was very interesting. Our guide was very knowledgable and took extra time and effort to show us more than just what was advertised. The only issue we had was understanding our guide. Her accent was very thick. Overall, well worth it.

It was a nice small group and our guide answered all our questions. We had such a great time with her that we even hung out later. Everything was well planned and on time.

Thoroughly fascinating and enjoyable. We had the guide to ourselves and she was a delight. Full of knowledge and history of the area.

3 star rating: Worth doing October 2015

The tour began at 6 PM. it was intended to be a three hour tour. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly and we enjoyed the time we spent with him. However, the evening weather on October 22 was too cold and we had to end the tour after two hours. I do not believe the description of the tour indicated it would begin at that time. When I asked the tour operator if it could be earlier the response was that to do so would be to have a private tour and the cost would increase by 110 E per person. My wife and I were the only persons on the 6 PM tour. If we knew the time would be as late as it was, given the season, we might have tried to make other plans. I also thought, notwithstanding the tour description, that the tour would have emphasized to a greater degree the Jewish history of Rome. That part of the tour was for only an hour.
