Overview

Eat and sightsee your way around Rome’s historical Trevi neighborhood on this 4-hour food and landmarks tour. Visit the Trevi Fountain and 2nd-century Pantheon, and see the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, and more.  While strolling, make at least seven food stops to sample specialities like cheeses, wines, prosciutto, pizza, and 'gelato' (ice cream), and explore Campo de' Fiori’s farmers' market. Food and wine tastings amount to a large lunch, and are all included.
  • Visit the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps and other sights
  • Enjoy sampling a number of Roman specialities like prosciutto, cheeses, 'gelato' (ice cream), pizza, and wines
  • Explore the Campo de' Fiori farmers market, where stalls sell fresh produce and local delicacies
  • Learn about Rome’s history and cuisine, and get insider restaurant and sightseeing tips
Meet your guide in Rome’s Piazza Campo de' Fiori, and start your food tour of the Trevi district. Historical monuments and upscale eateries fill this buzzing quarter, tucked beside the River Tiber.
Learn about Rome’s history and cuisine, and see landmarks including the Spanish Steps, Pompey Theatre, Marcus Aurelius Column and Piazza Navona. Plus, throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain to ensure your return to Rome, and visit the 2nd-century Roman Pantheon.
On route, enjoy at least seven food stops to sample various specialities. A hub for visitors and many Italian government buildings, the area abounds with restaurants and bars, alongside sophisticated delicatessens, coffee roasters, chocolatiers, salami makers, wine shops, and ice cream parlors.
Tastings vary on each tour, but expect to try delicacies like silky prosciutto, gelato, pizza, cheeses, wines, and more. As you eat, chat to the vendors to learn more about each dish. Come hungry, as the tastings will easily replace lunch.
Roam the food market at Campo de' Fiori, where the stalls sell fresh produce and goodies, and hear your guide’s tips for restaurants and sights in the city.
After four hours, your tour concludes in the Trevi district.

Our tour guide, Georgia, was wonderful. My mom, daughter and I enjoyed it immensely. I would highly recommend the tour. Great introduction to key sights like the Trevi fountain and wonderful food, wine and gelato stops. This tour was the highlight of my week in Europe,

Claudia was an expert and this tour was fabulous! There were only six of us. Do not eat before enjoying this absolutely delightful tour. The food and wine were awesome and I highly recommend this tour. You will enjoy Italian meats and cheeses, wine, pesto/crackers, pasta, coffee and tiramasu! Fabulous!

Good start to Rome. Our guide, Claudia was very attentive and great throughout the tour. I still need the pictures to be emailed though.

The food tour in Rome is a must do. We may all think we know Italian food - but we do not know it like this. The tour was a seven stop sojourn through the best that Rome has to offer. From personalised tastings to a sit down course. Not only is the food fantastic but you also learn the background and the history. In addition you learn more about Roman history while you dine. Francesca was an excellent guide. Yes I am raving but with good reason!

Francesca was an amazing guide! We have been on many food tours across Italy and this on was hands down the best! The tiramisu, Roman style pizza, pasta and salamis are all so delicious.

This tour was just better than OK. The meat shop was good and the information interesting, but we had been on a food tour of another area two days prior and the guide was much better and the food knocked this tour out of the park. The guide knew his information, but I did not get the impression that he loved his job. The meeting location was a little confusing as there were multiple food tours meeting at the same location and departing within minutes of each other. It would have been better to state outside a specific restaurant or shop instead of a statue where everyone else was meeting their tours. The other couple on the tour was also confused and we decided to call the company but no one answered the phone. Our guide was a few minutes late which caused us all unnecessary stress.

We had an amazing time on the tour! Got to do an olive oil/balasmic vinegar tasting, assorted deli meats, suppili rice balls with cheese inside, traditional roman street pizza, two types of traditional roman pastas, caffe, gelato, and tiramisu! All of this while walking through Rome and getting a personal tour of the sites, along with great history about everything! Would definitely do again!
