Well worth doing. The food was great and plenty of it. A very knowledgeable guide. So much to see, leave your self time to wander around after the tour finishes.
Absolutely amazing, worth every penny. the breakfast was killer and how many people really get to say they were the 1st and 2nd tourists to step foot in the Vatican? plus being there without the bustling crowds, this tour would have been worth it at twice the price.
This was fantastic! Nicole was our tour guide and he really made history come alive. Very knowledgeable. Loved having breakfast in the Pine Cone Courtyard. The time is early, but one sees the dome of St Peter's Basilica lit up in the night sky, it's spectacular.
Tiffany, our tour guide, was outstanding! She made this tour into something really special, with her expert commentary delightful approach and many stories that really brought the whole experience to life. This was the highlight of our time in Rome and something we will never forget. It is a fantastic tour and you will be very lucky indeed if Tiffany is your tour guide!
A fantastic experience. Our guide, Tiffany, was outstanding and her knowledge was extraordinary. More than worth the price.
Highly recommended tour, Tiffany was an amazing guide. She shared stories, history that we wouldn't have received with other tours. I'd do it again, in a heartbeat!
Our tour guide was incredible. She knew it all - all the popes, all the Vatican gossip through the centuries, she had us spellbound the entire tour. I would recommend this Tour to anyone wanting to not only see all the sights, but also learn the history behind incredible Vatican gardens, statues, paintings, pope-mobile's, and everything else on the tour.
THIS TOUR WAS ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR TRIP TO ROME AND WOULD DEFINITELY SUGGEST TO TAKE THIS TOUR AND NO CROWDS BUMPING WITH YOU DURING THE TOUR.
Great day. We were a group of 5 with one of us having already been to the vatican on our own on a previous trip. I wouldn't want to do this tour on my own. Just the stories and the background on the history of the vatican and the sistine chapel alone were worth the price. To know what you are seeing and hear it from an art historian who is passionate about the topic was amazing. The weather wasn't the greatest and we were pretty cold outside at the breakfast but the pictures and the ability to be in the gardens at sunrise what there was of it was an awesome experience. Getting up so early and getting there was also a trick after a night of wine and food was also a bit of a trick but well worth it.
This was truly worth every penny we paid for the experience. The food for breakfast was great and plenty of it. The guide was so knowledgeable and pointed out a number of things we wouldn't have seen without being on a tour. The highlight was of course the Sistine Chapel which, because we were early, wasn't busy and we were able to spend 30 minutes in.
This tour was AMAZING! Breakfast was good, enough to get you thru the day. The museums were wonderful and our guide was very very knowledgeable. I believe his name is Zev, I could be very wrong but I know it was only 3 letters lol. Anyway he was GREAT!
The breakfast and garden tour of the Vatican was awesome! Our tour guide Tiffany was also so incredible in the amount of knowledge she had about the Vatican. I loved seeing the gardens at sunrise..so beautiful! The tour was so informational I would highly recommend it. Also getting to the Vatican early made for a few quiet moments before the crowds. Take advantage of it if you can!!
We loved the tour and tour guide. The time of tour was not clear on the confirmation note. We ended up being an hour early for a very early tour. Breakfast great! small group even better.
This was truly an awesome experience. I didn't realize until we passed the Vatican the day before the immense number of people standing in line by mid morning. This group of 14 met about 6:35 and were the first ones to walk through the lobby entrance about ten minutes later. We had a nice breakfast on a beautiful morning and the sites themselves were not crowded until we reached St. Peter's at the end but that was about 10:30 AM. The guide was so knowledgeable. It was a great experience and totally worth the money and early arrival time.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and the group size was just right. Breakfast was very good and the tour of the gardens was absolutely stunning. I've done the Vatican museum tour before so the addition of the breakfast and gardens was great!
It's a great experience to have breakfast at a cafeteria, enjoy the tour to Vatican garden and beautiful of Sistine Chapel with our guide Lindy, who was extremely knowledgeable guide.

Awesome tour! The breakfast was very enjoyable and then the tour of the Vatican gardens was a great experience as not many people get a chance to see this part of Vatican City. Our guide Rachel, who is an archaeologist, was extremely knowledgeable and she enthusiastically shared her knowledge as she expertly navigated us through the throngs of people in the museums. The highlight of my trip to Rome was spending those quiet moments inside the Sistine Chapel.
We had a male guide, extremely knowledgeable and kept things very interesting. It was great to get in before the crowds. This was my second time visiting the Vatican. The first time I went was unguided and so incredibly crowded. I found this experience far more valuable. I highly recommend it!
Early access was great with no crowds. Very knowledgeable guide who also gave tips about staying in Rome.
Manuela was the best tour guide!! She was personable and had great knowledge!
Excellent Tour, enjoyed skipping the lines and the guides knowledge was excellent.
Tiffany was the best tour guide. I did a similar tour two years ago, and I learned a lot more this time around than I did the last time. The breakfast was delicious, who knew the Italians knew how to make pancakes. The beauty and richness of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel were something to behold.
This was an amazing tour. We had a wonderful tour guide named Rachel. She was so knowledgeable and made the whole experience something we will never forget. Eating breakfast in the courtyard was a once in a lifetime experience! I would highly recommend this tour!
Absolutely the BEST tour we have taken! We were in a small group, only 5 of us! When we walked in it felt like we owned the place : We started with breakfast in the cafeteria - if you choose the garden tour, don't be fooled by the picture. We weren't because I read other reviews. After breakfast we got on a bus to tour the gardens then returned to the museum. By the time we got to the museum it was open to the public and it was a little more crowded but not bad. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for this type of experience!
