Even in the pouring rain, this was a great evening - dinner was excellent, hotel forum was beautiful!
Great tour and Tour Guide. After seeing the huge lines waiting for admittance to the Colosseum during the day, we felt ultra privileged to see the site, unhindered during the evening. The VIP tour was well worth the money.
The Rooftop Dinner was divine and the tour was mind-boggling! A really great evening.

Beautiful views! Breathtaking! The dinner was delicious and the wine was non-stop. It was my husband's birthday and they were very nice about bringing out a nice slice of tiramisu and wrote happy birthday on the plate, made him feel very special! The Colosseum was amazing at night, it is beautiful in the daytime, but there is something so special about it at night. The underground chambers were so awesome too! Highly recommend this tour.

We arrived a few minutes late to the hotel where dinner was to be held but the front desk was expecting us and sent us right up to the roof. I did not realize until I returned to the states, but the tour operator City Wonders had actually called my mobile to see where we were AND to offer any assistance that we might need to get to the hotel. I thought that was a very nice touch.
Dinner and the rooftop dining room were excellent. I was really prepared for both the space and the meal to be more touristy so both greatly surpassed my expectation.
The tour of the Colosseum was extremely interesting with a very knowledgeable archeologist for a guide and it was wonderful not having the crowds. I think we may have been one of only four groups inside. An American guide that had breakfast next to us one morning had said that Rome had been extremely crowded this year and that even skip the line tours of the Colosseum were taking a couple of hours to get in! We walked right in.
I am not sue how often this tour is offered, but definitely take advantage of it if you get a chance!!
Traveling in Italy can be very challenging due to the crowds so seeing the Colosseum at night when no one else was there was perfect! The dinner was very good and in a lovely setting. It was also fun to meet other travelers. Our Colosseum guide was an archaeologist so we learned a lot and he had some really fascinating stories. Though pricey, we were glad we did this and had a wonderful evening.
This tour was amazing and we loved every minute of it . Our guides Melise and Helorie were friendly and very knowledgeable and we learned lots about the history of the Colosseum . The restaurant where we had our meal was first rate and every course was delicious with very generous portions and our wine glasses were kept topped up by very friendly waiters . The Colosseum during the day looked like an ant colony with so many visitors inside but our group at night was only six and there was only one other small group in at same time as us so we had plenty room to see everything and to take lots of pictures

This is just awesome, our guides were amazing, the food was out of this world, and we had the Colosseum more or less to ourselves for a bit. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for anything more.
The food at the Forum Hotel was special and then the tour was fantastic. I would highly recommend to all.
Great tour at night gives you VIP treatment at the Coliseum. Food was excellent. Highly recommended. Coloseum during the day is way too busy
Avoid the lines and crowds. A tad expensive, but an excellent experience
The coliseum architectural guide knew her stuff and the exoerience was magical.
food was like being at a wedding. underground tour was ok. guide was not the best. viators guide was good.

Well I wish I could remember our guide's name maybe John because I thought he was a great host. The dinner was really good, including bottomless wine glasses. The views of the forum are nice we arrived just in time for me to get some amazing sunset pictures. After dinner there wasn't much forum tour, other than a look down into it and some discussion - but who cares - that's not what this tour is for. The Colosseum at night is a must. I went both during the day and the night, both are worth the trip. At night it is much more quiet and I felt like I had more space and time to absorb everything. The underground is interesting, I'm glad I didn't miss it, however you only go in a small part, it's not like you're walking around the entire underground of the structure. This is a great evening event to do in Rome, I doubt anyone regretted the taking the tour.
This tour was wonderful! I cant wait to go back to Rome and get more tours from our guide, Angela! She knows so many things not only from the colosseum , but everything about Rome! The dinner on the forum rooftop was fantastic as well!!
Dinner was amazing - and the ability to enter the Colosseum at night was simply beautiful and breath taking. Our tour guide Melanie made sure we had the best time at dinner and throughout our tour. She provided very informative information about the culture and the city of Rome.
I was travelling alone and this was perfect for me. I enjoyed lively conversations over a beautiful meal. That in itself was almost worth the price. Having a private Guide from one of the Colosseum staff members for the tour was refreshing. It felt like the whole place was dedicated just for us and there was only 14 people in the group. Having said that, the presentation wasn't structured and was off the cuff. That could be one further improvement but that is not the fault of Viator.
This was a beautiful trip. We surprised our family with this dinner and tour for our last night and it was a perfect way to finish up. The dinner was fantastic. Our guide was fun and knowledgeable. It was awesome being in the colosseum at night when there was hardly anyone around. Perfection!
Dinner was spectacular with stunning views from the rooftop restaurant. Our Colosseum tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Visiting this attraction at night after dinner was much more relaxing than battling the daytime crowds!
Best tour of Rome, not cheap but truly excellent dinner and then a fantastic tour of the Colosseum with a most knowledgeable guide. He was so enthusiastic, truly knowledgeable of Roman History and the atmosphere was electric. Highly recommended and will always be the best experience of Rome...........
Food and wine were well-matched. View from the restaurant was superb. The tour of the Colosseum had two aspects. The first its beauty with the lights at night was so superior to daytime that it was hard to believe we where in the same place. Secondly, it was wonderful not having any crowd there and it was awe inspiring.
Excellent dinner and tour. The colosseum was nearly empty and it was great to explore. The night made it difficult for pictures inside the colosseum but it was still a view I and #39;ll never forget.
Great dinner on the top floor of the Forum Hotel! Would have enjoyed sitting with other tour guests but each couple had our own table. Seeing the Colluseum at night without the crowds was amazing. We saw the ground floor level the lower level with elevator recreated. Not allowed up to 3rd level.
Fabulous - terrific dinner, interesting information from the tour guide and amazing tour! Would highly recommend this.
Absolutely fantastic. This is, in our opinion, the only way to do it. The venue, food and guide were all brilliant.
