The best way to visit Vatican museums and Sistine Chapel. We loved it! The group was small and explanations very professional and personal. We have visited areas that are not opened for public at all like private rooms of pope and best part is visit of Sistine chapel after working hours, all alone! Thank you

This amazing tour was worth every penny. Our guide was very professional and knowledgeable. We saw parts of the museums that were not open to any other tours but most importantly, the time in the Sistine Chapel WITHOUT THE CROWDS was priceless! There were 9 of us and that included the guide and the guard! The paintings were explained, the anecdotal stories were entertaining. We were allowed to take photos. What an experience! Do not hesitate, this is DEFINITELY worth the price!

Shannon was our guide and she was EXCELLENT. Very expensive, but a great tour. She gives you a lot of information and keeps it moving pretty well.

Myself and 2 nieces spent 2 weeks in Europe and this tour was the highlight of my trip. I loved every second of this tour. Our guide was fantastic and when I am back in Rome I want to do this again and will request her. This was well worth the price of admission.

This was the best tour of our vacation. How can you beat a half hour in the Sistine Chapel with only 14 people! We got to take pictures as well. The tour included a lot of in depth information about the other exhibits in the Vatican museum and the guide had a great knowledge and attitude toward our entire group. She even gave my wife and I a great recommendation for dinner!

This is a MUST-DO tour! I have several friends who have seen the Sistine Chapel and they always complain about the crowds of people and the guards rushing/moving people along. This tour allowed us to be in the Sistine Chapel with just our family for almost 45 minutes. It was a religious experience in itself! Plus you get to see things like a former pope's bedroom and a private chapel where popes pray. Absolutely incredible.

The VIP tour guided by Shanon was wonderful. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate. She has a great demeanor and a pleasure to spend time with. There was not a question she did not know the answer. We spent 40 minutes in the Sisteen Chapel by ourselves including taking pictures. I would highly recommend this tour and particularly with Shanon. I would specifically ask for her. To visit the Vatican any other way is foolish.

Worth every cent. Very informative and we were allowed to see areas that not everyone else in the general public could. Group size was perfect and we were the only group in the chapel. Absolutely recommended.

Dora was our guide, and she was excellent. Sadly we were misdirected by a few private ticket touts who sent us miles out of our way. However, on arriving at our meeting place. The group were still waiting

This tour is worth every penny. Bypassing the crowds and seeing some less traveled rooms is a welcome respite from the very busy Vatican madness. Our guide, Shannon, was very enthusiastic and focused on making sure this was a special experience for all 11 of our group. The entire tour is amazing but the the final 30 minutes alone in the Sistine Chapel make the tour unique and unforgettable. Shannon was able to describe each panel to us with no distractions. It truly is one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

This was a splurge, but absolutely exceeded our expectations. Our tour with Sev was the highlight of our trip. He was very knowledgable and entertaining--if we could have, we would have booked a different tour with him every day. It would have been well worth it.

The tour was amazing! Got to see the Bramante staircase and number of other things not open to the public. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining!! (Sev)
Nice to have Sistine Chapel to our small group. Would have wished for the full 30 mins here and to have at least 5 mins silence.

This was a very expensive tour for the time period it was to take, so my expectations for this tour were very high. I am happy to say that they were met, I think mainly because of the tour guide. Unfortunately I forget his name, but he was an American who teaches in Rome and was both knowledgeable and able to give his explanations in entertaining language. The Vatican Museums, like other world class museums, can't be fully explored in 3 hours or even 3 weeks, so I was impressed at the selection of items to be viewed. We saw a mix of items that were simply interesting, but not necessarily historically or artistically spectacular, to the most glorious works in history. The guide gave interesting explanations of everything we looked at in terms of history, art history and how and when they were acquired. One member of the tour raised a very interesting philosophical question about whether the world, or at least the Western world, would have been better off if Nero had succeeded in snuffing out the Christians or Constantine had not established Christianity as the state religion. The guide gave the best answer for this tour: change any major historical fact and the world would be different, but there is no way to know if it would be better or worse. A small, more academically oriented tour could have made this a fascinating conversation. The non-public rooms were very interesting, esp. Julian II's apts., and the opportunity to see the Sistine Chapel privately was an exceptional experience. Even the march out down corridors we hadn't seen before was wonderful. For anyone who can afford it, I would highly recommend this tour.

If there were six stars I would give this tour six! Best tour in Italy. Skip some of the crowds, there are a lot of people, and see places most will never see. Thirty mins. in the Sistine Chapel after everyone else has gone was absolutely breathtaking. Unforgettable experience. Our guide was great. Knew the staff at the Museum. Had great stories to tell.

I would highly recommend this tour. It was an amazing couple of hours with a wonderful guide. He was funny, informative, accommodating, and made the experience so much richer. I soaked up great knowledge of art, history, and funny anecdotes along the way. Of course, highlights were the small 7 of us alone in the Sistine Chapel, and the private chapel of a former Pope. So worth it!

One of a kind experience. We saw so much and had our own personal security guard that let us in to the restricted areas. The only drawback is that you don't go inside St. Peter's so I'd make time for that prior to the tour.

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Expensive but worth it, if nothing else, just to have a good span of time in the Sistine chapel with only our small group. What made the tour particularly enjoyable was the excellent commentary by our guide. He obviously knew his stuff and cared about sharing his knowledge.
Only negative comment--I wish we could have seen a few more works by Michelangelo and Raphael. But our time was well filled--Perhaps a little less on the outdoors in favor of indoors would be my only change. Very good memories of the experience.

Absolutely amazing being in the Sistine Chapel with just a few people was worth the price of admission. Our guide Shannon made it more impressive still. Her knowledge was deep and her presentation flawless. Definitely the highlight of our two weeks in Italy.

I cannot recommend this highly enough.

There is a lot of walking through the Vatican before we got to the unique rooms and the Sistine Chapel.
Our excellent guide made this all fascinating and come to life, so the time flew past.
The time in the Sistine Chapel was breathtaking and something I will never forget, having been there previously it was always crowded and you did not get very long to see it, this was totally different and our guide talked us through all the points. It was a fantastic experience. This tour is expensive but you will remember the experience long after you have forgotten the price!!!
