Good value. An excellent geothermal area. Loved Lady Knox Geyser erupting, including the talk beforehand.

It was a wonderful experience. With so many parks on offer, it was difficult to know which to visit, but Wai-a-Topu filled all our needs. It was a fascinating park and the ranger who gave us a talk was amazing. Sara was personable and one of the most knowledgeable guides we have come across, and she shared it all in an entertaining and interesting fashion. thoroughly recommend a visit.

Best Thermal Park over a large area with the Champagne Pool and Devils Bath to name a couple. We were to late to see the Lady Knox Geyser so they stamp your tickets for you to return the following day if you wish to

this place is amazing, had a great afternoon with my family. if you happen to visit there on a sunny day the heat can be overwhelming, so remember to bring a hat and some water with you!!!!

Not as good as Yellostone. Do not go there if you have been at Yellowstone.

It was well worth the visit as the various thermal activities along the route provide different sights and interest. The route was pretty easy to walk hence even my 80 year old mother was able to navigate. Surprisingly, the air quality was pretty decent with not much of sulphur smell, much better than some of the volcanic areas I visited before. However, Lady Knox Geyser was not as magnificent as I envisaged. Overall, it was a good item on the itinerary for NZ North Island visit.

Really enjoyed this tour however to get the full benefit you need to drive between three sites which was unexpected and a bit of pain. However it and #39;s a must see and good value for money.

This was an interesting place to visit whilst in Rotarua. You get used to the Sulphur or rotten egg smell after a while. The geothermal mud pools and geiser are worth checking out. This is a popular tourist attraction so arrive early to avoid the crowds.

Best Thermals in Rotorua except the geyser, which only nature can help despite the soap! Great park though Wai-O-Tapu.

We visited here because of its fame in New Zealand and it was on our drive from Rotorua to National Park to do the Tongariro Crossing. Honestly it took us only about 35 minutes to go through the whole park. Expect lots of people to be there. It is worth a stop if driving by but not worth making a special trip just to see it.
