The coastal tour of San Diego was amazing! Morty was very knowledge about the area. We went to several beaches. we saw Cabrillo National monument. went to different beaches Ocean Beach, Mission Bay, Pacific Beach. Encinitas, where we stopped for a great lunch. Swamis, Meditation garden, Torre Pines, Solana Beach and LaJolla. We seen a lot of cool stuff. The Seals were my favorite. It is a great trip to go on. Marty was so kind and patient. He was very laid back. The trip was awesome.

Very good tour of the various towns and beaches. Marty covered many historical sites also, we did a lot of walking so don't be too far out of shape.

This was a great way to get a taste of the coast north of San Diego. Our tour guide, Morty, did an excellent job. The tour was well paced. We were able to see many interesting and beautiful sights and were given time to enjoy them. The touring van was very comfortable. Van is windowless-so bring something warm for the ride. Point Loma, Cabrillo Monument, Rosecrans Cemetery and the lighthouse were so interesting and the views incredible. We stopped at numerous beautiful beaches, all distinct in their own ways, and it was fun to see then Glider Port at Torrey Pines. It was great not to be doing the driving. In our opinion the tour was well worth the price. Very convenient that the tour picked us up at our downtown hotel. Thank you Coastal Tours for the wonderful day trip.

Great Tour, the route itinerary is really well planned and Morty adds that personal touch that makes a perfect outing day at the beaches, going to places you wouldn't find on your own, a 10 out of 10! THANK YOU!

This tour was wonderful! The day we went, the traffic was horrible. It was so nice to sit back and let Morty do the driving. We saw so much more than we would have on our own. Awesome tour and well worth the money!!!

I took this trip on June 7, 2016 and it was just great. Our guide did a wonderful job by showing us all of the neat beaches, caves, wild life, light house, and information about the area. I justed could not get over seeing the seals so close and seeing the other wild life. I thought it was just great that he came to the hotel to pick me up and returned me without any issues. It was a wonderful trip and so interesting if you don't want to drive to the beaches I would highly suggest this trip plus you won't waste your money it was worth the cost. You might want to bring a jacket because the van is windowless so you can get good pictures but it was a little breeze and he provided blankets for you and it was fun. Please consider this coastal trip and I don't think you will be disappointed I know that I wasn't.
Thank you

This tour and the tour guide were awesome! I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in seeing the environment around San Diego. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the San Diego area and he made the tour fun by adding his insight into many of the sights that we visited. This tour is an excellent way to chew off a National Monument in the San Diego area Cabrillo National Monument. The scenery was breathtaking and many of our stops included beautiful vistas of the Pacific Ocean. There is no way that a visitor to the San Diego area could visit so many of the beautiful sights on their own as the tour director knew many shortcuts to the various stops in our journey.

We had a great time! Morty was the best! He was pleasant, informative, and very caring about us and our needs. He took extra time to show us some neat things and also answered any questions we had. We would highly recommend his tour! It was a fun day! Thanks Morty!

Morty was our guide and he was great. We saw and experienced so many places along the coast. Morty made everything so easy for us to see and he was extremely knowledgable. Thus tour was even better than our expectations!

The southern California coast line is a must see, especially for those living inland. The beauty is overwhelming and the activities associated with the cliffs and the Pacific ocean particularly the surfing, hang gliding and kayaking are sights to behold and to engage in if you are so inclined. Certainly, a camera and a good pair of walking shoes are a must. The seals sunbathing on the rocks in La Jolla were unfazed by our presence making for some very intimate photos. The serenity of the Self Realization gardens overlooking the Ocean were pure California. The seven hour tour goes very quickly not affording much time at any of the attractions as the guide keeps moving at a rapid pace. Re-visiting some of the stops at one's leisure is a good idea.

The tour was good and we saw all the areas that were listed on the viator website. However their were only 3 of us that day, and so we were driven around in a small car versus the bus listed in the online tour discription. It was not a very comfortable way to spend the day and we would have cancelled if we had known the transportation had been changed.

We were the only two people on the tour which was great in the sense that it was private. Because it was just the two of us however, the tour was taken in a Prius. I have nothing against this type of car but spending all those hours and getting in and out of the backseat of a Prius is a different story.

We enjoyed what we saw, but with just the two of us, our guide was kind of like Chevy Chase when took his family on Vacation and they visited the Grand Canyon. Everyone stood there to take a photo and he promptly says Let's go! so they can get back on the road. Our guide was a very fast walker who was always on a mission to walk to the next point of interest. We were on vacation and would have preferred to enjoy the walk and surroundings rather than - speed walk to this stopping point - look - move on Chevy Chase Grand Canyon Style. I finally just decided to walk as a nice pace and enjoy the scenery - letting him wait on us. The best part was when we were allowed to do some walking to see the seals and hand gliders on our own.

Ultimately, this tour has a lot of places to go so we always felt pressed for time to move onto the next location. We would rather have missed certain places than sped through those we saw. When considering this tour, hopefully yours will also have enough people to ride in the bus mentioned in the tour rather than the backseat of a Prius and you get to enjoy your surroundings. .

Of the places listed that we were supposed to visit, one closed on Mon and 2 were just drivebys. So, you really only visit 3 beaches, the Cabrillo Monument and the Torrey Pines Gliderport. In addition, no historical, geographical, geological facts provided. No ability to get water and food inedible.
