Great Family Activity
Jann_R, Mar 2019
Had a great time touring downtown San Diego and Coronado Island on our segways - thanks to our guide, Preston. Great activity with adult sons on a family vacation. Preston showed us how to safely ride, he had great patience, and he gave us a really fun, relaxing afternoon.

So happy we did this tour!! it was a great way to see Coronado and explore the streets of san diego. Our guide Adam was very calm and helpful in teaching my family how to ride. My kids are 12 yrs and they were able to control the segway better than me! We took the ferry over to coronado and rode all over... several miles... def a cool experience!

We had an excellent time, our family's own private tour with Adam. Took the evening ride, left Gaslamp District, hopped on the boat, peeled around corners at Coronado, took in the ocean, enjoyed the stop at that amazing hotel, where my daughter's reception will one day be maybe Nixon's daughter?, and really had fun on the Segway. Thanks a bunch, Adam and company!!

I took my daughter with me on a business trip to San Diego. I thought she'd like a tour but knew a bus tour was not gonna cut it she was 16. Although it was a long time ago 2009 it's still is a fun topic when we think about San Diego. We took the Downtown San Diego and Coronado Island tour in the evening - spectacular. The ferry rides were awesome and our guide Jason was funny and a great Segway teacher neither of us had any Segway experience. I recommend this tour especially because San Diego is so large and Segway transportation gives you more sites in less time.

I had my doubts about my ability to use a Segway, but they soon dissolved. After about 10 minutes of instruction and practice, off we went. I soon felt comfortable and confident on the Segway and enjoyed our tour of the harbor and Coronado Island. John was an excellent instructor and guide. We covered the island as he told us about the history and real estate. We were surprised that the tour continued with just two in the group. It was a great experience. Thanks, John for a great tour!

Our Segway tour was A-MAZ-ING. The date was my 50th birthday and could not have been a better gift from my husband. The Segways were easy to operate (yes, if I can do it - anyone can) and our guide (Dan) made sure that we were comfortable operating them before we left the site. Dan was very knowlegable about the area and ensured that we were directly behind him the entire time. He also took care of getting my Segway up and down the plank for the ferry rides. Dan even made sure that we had time to take pictures. We could have taken a tour that was less in time and cost - I am so glad that we went for the Coronado Island tour instead. Neither my husband or I had ever done this before - but we were pros by the time the tour ended. It was a great memory for us. I highly recommend the company and the tour. Make sure you ask for Dan. We will absolutely do it again.

Overall, it was quite good. Probably should have allowed for a stop at the Del Coronado hotel. I barely saw it!
