This is great for saving your feet in this hilly city. You can get your bearings and decide where you want to return for a better look around. Beware of the wind when going over the Golden Gate bridge. it is very strong and can be very cold.
This tour was great to see the city with limited time in San Fran. And it goes over the Golden Gate Bridge, with the option to explore the other side, which was great. Try to get on a bus with an actual guide, who will give you insider tips about the city and each stop. Also, try to get on the bus early or at the beginning or end of the tour OR at a known busy spot where people will get off, this way you can get a seat on top of the bus. Beware though, if you're on the top during the ride across the bridge, it is very, very, very windy and cold.
We love the HOP ON HOP OFF. Make sure you use the BIG BUS in San Francisco. They are the only one with the headsets in every bus. We made the mistake in the past. Look for BIG BUS
Great way to see the city and stop when you have an interest and time. Getting a seat on the top is a real asset and there are options to move up and passengers depart. The guides were very helpful
A great way to get an overview of the city as well as some of the key attractions. It worked very well for us
An excellent trip which is great value for money.
The commentary as you make your way through San Francisco is informative and entertaining.
As it is hop on and hop off you can choose to visit the sites that interest with the added benefit of also seeing those which you may otherwise have missed.
Great way to get to know the city, what there is to offer and to travel around the main attractions
What a wonderful way to see San Francisco, It was nice cool and sunny day. Our tour guide in the morning was so knowledgeable about the city. We learned so much about San Francisco, then we got off in the Ashbury area, and after walking around, we got back on to another bus, and the tour guide was a young girl in her 20's, she was very funny and sometimes acted foolishly. We laughed at her remarks, but other than that, it's a great way to see the city and learn.
Wonderful tours. Took the day tours throughout the SF/Sausilito areas and the night tour of the City and Treasure Island. We find it so convenient using the hop-on hop-off method to see any major city we visit. No traffic or parking issues nor getting lost. We hop-off whenever we come up to someplace interesting we want to see. Other than it was cold as heck over the bridges, we really enjoyed the whole 2 days.
Great tour! with very funny/entertaining live tour guide Jacob and his driver buddy Jose. We had them during out night tour and it was fun. Must take the tour if you and #39;re in SF for couple of days. Just carry warm clothing it gets chilly on open double decker bus.
I absolutely recommend this tour for anyone that will be in San Francisco for a couple days. We purchased the 48 hour tickets and did not regret any of it. The 48 hour ticket includes the evening tour and the Sausalito tour. We would bypass the Sausalito tour next time, but the night tour was fabulous. One note for anyone going....take WARM clothes because it gets cold on the top of that bus at night but there is no better way to see the sights and get some fabulous pictures! It's well worth every penny spent!
Best way to see the city and all it has to offer...Gave us the flexibility to do what we wanted and go where we wanted and they were right there when we were ready to move on...this was the best idea ever..Will definitely use this service again in other cities where it is offered...
