The Big Bus tour was what we had hoped for in touring San Fransisco. The hop on hop off spots were perfectly located. The tour during the day was good but seeing the city at night was amazing. We wish we would have booked the Alcatraz tour for a different day instead of the day of the hop on hop off. It cut the city tour too short.

I wish we could’ve wandered around Sausalito and Chinatown more leisurely. We had to rush because the tickets we got for Alcatraz were for a 2:10pm departure. Other than that we had lots of fun and we’re glad we didn’t have to drive through San Francisco traffic. Our tour guide Dominica was great. Very polite and informative. Loved her accent. Our other tour guide John K. Was also awesome. He had us cracking up the whole time. He also helped us plan so we wouldn’t miss Alcatraz.

Enjoyed our busy day of sightseeing in San Francisco. We started the day getting on the Big Bus tour of the city. Starting the tour at Fisherman’s Warf and continuing throughout the city. We went over the Golden Gate Bridge and made approximately 20 stops. We chose to stay on the bus and enjoy the city with Joseph, the tour guide. Later in the day we made our way to Pier 23 to take the Alcatraz tour which was amazing as well. It was a busy and fun packed day.

Great first time tour of San Francisco. Easy access and friendly staff. Didn't appreciate the somewhat crude humor of bus guide with teens. Not funny. No time for that.

The bus is a convenient way to get around the city and to see and hear points of history and interests. You have to get on early to get the most of time to see things, as it ends early evening.Alcatraz tour was interesting. Buy tickets ahead of time as this tour does sell out. The boat to the island is efficient and the jail tour is self guided.

It was excellent and very informative...The top of the bus is extremely cold at night....bring a coat...we went in August.

The alcatraz portion was great! We loved it. The bus tour started out great...it was a hop on and off tour and when we hopped back on there was no tour guide for half of the tour which made it just a less than average experience for the bus portion.

Guide was entertaining - dress warmly GG bridge is freezing - not the true hop On hop off scenario - not enough buses and long long lines at each stop so we stayed on until two
Stops before the end to have lunch then we took Uber back to our hotel because we could not get back on the bus. Have used Hop On concept in Europe Boston New York and never had a problem getting onto a
Bus. Tourist season on SF is insane - plan your trip in September / October better weather and hopefully fewer tourists
