Get familiar with San Francisco’s coffee and chocolate culture on this 4-hour food tour by bike. Pedal about 10 miles through some of San Francisco’s sunniest neighborhoods, including the Mission District, Potrero Hill, Dogpatch, Hunter’s Point, and SOMA, and sample chocolate tastings along the way. Plus, your guide happily carries any purchases you might make on the tour back with them, so you can bring home all your favorites, too.
Meet your group at 10:30am at the location specified at checkout in San Francisco to get your bike and helmet. Start your food experience in the Mission District where you can pick up a coffee (own expense) at a local roaster that’s known to make one of San Francisco’s best coffees.
Then, take a look at a nearby ceramics factory and art gallery before you pop into a chocolate test kitchen. Sample some of the kitchen’s award-winning treats, and then hop back on your bike.
Continue riding until lunchtime. Your group will pick a lunch spot from several yummy locations in the area, and order pickup so you can take your food to-go. Set up a picnic at a park in the Dogpatch neighborhood, as you enjoy stunning views of the Bay Bridge, Berkeley, and Oakland.
After everyone’s done eating, your tour spends quite a bit of time pedaling through Dogpatch. Discover its unique collection of art galleries, chocolate shops, cheese makers, wine producers, and coffee roasters.
There are a few surprise stops along this tour, but with 10 miles to pedal, you’ll be happy for each one.
