Our guide, Rodney, was awesome!! He made the bad weather disappear and brought history to life with his spot -on timing and footnotes.
Rode a second day and got another tour with same guide. Yay Rodney! Thanks for making a couple of cold, rainy days incredible.
My son's 12th birthday was one he will likely never forget. Thanks for all the pointers too!
Very good local guides, with plenty of information. Frequency of buses was an issue once you got off. Night tour was interesting.
It was fun, great experience. We got to visit the attractions that I was really interested in. The bus runs about 45min to 1hr for pick-up. If you're lucky, you get to see some interesting people on the streets. The tour guides were entertaining and informative. I learned a lot about different parts of San Francisco.
We enjoyed the tours we took very much! The guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining as well! We happened to be in San Francisco during the 4th of July weekend with a very large crowd of others with the same idea!
Our buses were full and very happy to be where we were on top of the bus! With the best view!
Thank you for an awesome experience!
Enjoyed the guides very much-Jennifer and Ricoh the driver were a great team. Humor and knowledge nicely blended. We used the hop on hop off as our mode of transport all over from Union Square where we stayed-after taking the BART from the airport. The only negative was that the last tour left at 5pm.....so you had to be careful to be on the last bus to get back before the buses were done. The night tour also did not leave till 6pm from the Wharf....kind of a distance at night. Overall-so well worth it! My hubby had never been to SF so we wanted to see it all....and we did :
Excellent value to see all San Francisco and area has to offer.
I liked the fact that there were three different tours, plus the night tour. I was able to take advantage of all the tours and loved it!
Best way to see a great city.
Staff always helpful and informative.
We went on two buses - had to change at the Gate Bridge to go to Sausilito. Both drivers were amusing and knowledgeable.
It was our first down in San Fran after a long 12 hour flight. We made our way to the Waterfront Info office and hoped on and didn't have time to hop off except at the end.
Jim was a terrific engaging, knowledgable guide who was extremely entertaining and had a great rapport with the people on board. He liaised with Reggie the driver to pick people up and drop them off safely. It was a very good start to our time in San Francisco!
It was ideal and I would highly recommend it! We did the 2 day pass which got us all the lines as well as the evening tour. We stayed in a hotel in the financial district across the street from China Town and the bus stop was just outside the hotel. We could not have been happier with the tour and the guides were really fun. :
I highly recommend purchasing the 48-hr package. We took 3 different tours - definitely worth it!
I wish I could remember all the tour guides - all of them were so knowledgeable and had great personalities. I think having such skilled guides, not to mention drivers made this the best deal ever! This was my first time on the Hop-on-hop-off tour. After this experience, I will do this again-Thanks!
Even though it was cold and wet, the tours were really wonderful. We had a grand time and would highly recommend for anyone interested in seeing more of San Francisco
Loved it my twin grand daughter had a blast was a really good thing to do thinksn
Very much fun and informative. Great tour guides, lots of personality.
What a fantastic tour for the affordable price! The tour guide was very detailed, answered questions, and even cracked a few (dry)jokes!LOL!He was very personable and cared about making sure we enjoyed our tour.Additional sights we saw was the Mrs.Doubtfire House and the Keane(Big Eyes) Gallery.COOL!
These tours are the way to see San Francisco. getting on and off the buses when you wanted to and catching the next was a great advantage. The drivers were all informative and sights we saw were amazing. We went all over San Francisco. Too bad it was so chilly though!
Good tour its easier than taking a cab/Uber or walking everywhere.
We have an 8 yr old boy and a 6m old baby and it was perfect to move around, the umbrella stroller can be left on the lower level. The guides where really good, specially the night tour. Recommend the 48 hours that includes Sausalito and night tour
The guides were both entertaining and informative, each with a unique style. My mom and brother loved seeing San Francisco from the 2nd tier, but it was quite a chilling experience! You don't see as much from the lower tier, so I'd recommend winter hats and scarves and a good windbreaker on top of a sweatshirt.
We learned some interested historical details, and it was good to know that another bus would be around every half hour, but sometimes they came a tiny bit early and we had to wait for the next one. Some kind of marking or bench with a sign that it's the right stop would be helpful too. The Japanese Garden is not to be missed!
Thanks for a great time overall!
