Your local guide regales you with stories about this famous San Francisco neighborhood as you sample a variety of treats. My favorite part is watching fresh bread being made in a bakery -- the aroma of it baking is fabulous!
Tourguide was excellent...an SF and North Beach local who really knew his stuff. It was clear he keeps his contacts and knowledge of the area current which made us feel right at home throughout the tour. The stops were all delicious. A terrific combination of the wonky heritage of the artists and beats and the Italian heritage of San Francisco.
Highly recommended at the price.
My wife and I decided to do this food tour.
We were very glad we did.
Food and drinks were good and the tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable
It was such a great tour. Small and we learned so much. Very interesting. The food was so delicious. Well worth the price. If your considering doing this--book it. It really was perfect.
The food tour was excellent. We met amazing people, and the food stops were delicious. I commend the professional attitude of the guides and I would recommend that you take the tour, it is well worth it. Enjoy!
Blandina was absolutely great! She knew everyone we met on the tour and had lot of inside information about the area and people.
Our tour guide, Blandina, was extremely knowledgeable about the North Beach area, having lived there for many years. She had many stories of famous artists and writers who have lived there. And so much delicious food tasting! Don't eat before taking this tour!
Tom was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed it very much. The food portions were generous and delicious. All in all it was a great value.
Very interesting and plenty of good food, too!
This tour is a lot of fun!! Blondina is an excellent guide, with a lot of interesting facts about the neighborhood.
I had a great time with Blandina tour guide and a nice couple from Dallas on a personal walking tour of little Italy and the North Beach. It was nice to be in a small group of 3 as we learned so much about the culture, history and local shops. Some highlights were a cappuccino at Caffè Roma the make their own coffee in a huge machine, family run business with training in Italy - I bought a bag of coffee beans to take home, Mario's Cigar the best Focaccia sandwiches, St. Peter and Paul's Church beautiful church across from Washington Square, Z Cioccolato Fudge OMG yummy, Stella Pastry amazing desserts, Molinaro Deli walking in there makes you feel like you just stepped into Italy had another tasty sandwich - out of this world good and shared a pizza at Viva Pizza. I highly recommend this tour!
