The trip was well organized. Our driver Grady did a fantastic job. He was friendly, very informative and knowledgeable. I learned a lot along the way about the areas that we drove through and about Monterey/Carmel. Thank you Grady!

    Terrible bus ride; beautiful scenery.

    , Oct 2021
The bus ride was horrible. No a/c and it was 80 outside. We were all sweating. Beads of sweat on our foreheads. The bus shook terribly—wheels out of balance or something. Between the extreme heat and violent shaking, developed a migraine which make the long ride almost intolerable. Carmel and Monterey Bay were lovely but the thought of getting back on the bus for the long trip home dampened it. We actually wondered if the wheels would fall off. Grady the driver did his best. Grey Line obviously has no respect for their customers.

Hello Ron, I'm sorry that your experience was not good with us. We have a lot of respect for all our customers, but we clearly dropped the ball this time, and the experience was not up to our standards. On the other hand, we appreciate your kind words about Grady; we are happy to know that he did his best. I have processed a full refund of your booking as we did not provide the level of service that we promised. I hope you can give us another opportunity in the future. Thanks Xavier General Manager Gray Line San Francisco

    Nice tour down coast

Awesome views and great day overall! Lots of good information, but sometimes excessive details were distracting. The best way to view the coast! Our 4 star rating based on annoying microphone and speaker equipment frustrating our guide throughout afternoon ( no fault of his). Seemed like tour guide and driver relationship was not up to par. Driver, Jack was excellent, driving in difficult situations.

Our tour guide, Tony, spent the entire trip trying to make sure everyone had fun. He was very accommodating to me and my need for extra accommodations due to my walker.

17 mile drive was great. Monterey was great. 1 1/2 in Carmel was too long at the end of the day. Would rather have spent more time in Monterey.
icon Response from Host , Sep 2021
Thanks for your review, Barbara. We are happy to hear that you happen to find the 17-mile drive and Monterey stops excellent. We often hear from other customers that they like to have 90minutes in Carmel to have enough time to walk by the beach and explore Carmel plaza. So we'll look for more feedback to decide if we change the structure of the itinerary. Thanks again for the feedback and your good review. Andrea Customer Manager Gray Line San Francisco
