What You Can Expect

San Francisco 3-for-1 Pass: Alcatraz, The San Francisco Dungeon and Madame Tussauds

Madame Tussauds, the San Francisco Dungeon and Alcatraz Combo

Combine three San Francisco attractions on a self-guided tour with admission to Madame Tussauds wax museum, the San Francisco Dungeon and Alcatraz.

Madame TussaudsAllow at least one hour to experience this famous wax museum at San Francisco’s Fishermans Wharf. Marvel at lifelike statues of iconic celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe and Elton John; get up close and personal with famous politicians and world leaders like Barack Obama; and come in contact with A-list athletes and actors including Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet and George Clooney. In addition, see a special exhibit on prominent San Francisco and Bay Area figures. Peek behind the scenes and learn how these life-size models are created by the experts.

San Francisco DungeonAt this interactive theatrical attraction at Fisherman’s Wharf, watch live actors bring two centuries of San Francisco’s sordid history to life. They’ll draw you into fascinating tales of the Gold Rush, Alcatraz, Chinatown and more. Nine live-action vignettes will amuse and educate you.

Alcatraz It’s an approximate 5- to 10-minute walk through Fisherman’s Wharf to Alcatraz Landing where you’ll board the ferry across San Francisco Bay to Alcatraz Island, aka ‘The Rock.’ Snap photos as you pass by the San Francisco skyline and Golden Gate Bridge. Step out at Alcatraz, a former maximum-security penitentiary, now a National Park Service site, and tour the cell block on a roughly 2.5-hour audio tour that provides a captivating overview of the prison that once held America’s most notorious criminals, including Al ‘Scarface’ Capone. Your tour ends with your ferry ride back to Alcatraz Landing.

We were fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day at Alcatraz, which gave us fantastic views of the golden gate bridge and the San Francisco skyline. We thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour with the island's Ranger and the audio tour that followed. The history of the island was fascinating. We spent about 4 hours on the island and it was well worth the time and money. We were also able to enjoy Madame Tussauds wax museum and the San Francisco Dungeon on other days we had available.

Anyone wanting to visit Alcatraz should take this package of 3 as it gives a light hearted view and education of the history of the city and the prison. We all enjoyed Alcatraz very informative , you could almost feel the prisoners still in residence somewhere near.

Enjoyed visiting Alcatraz, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum and the San Francisco Dungeon all in one day. Was able to get Alcatraz tickets on short notice, which was lovely. Nice to have everything arranged by Viatour and not have to do the additional planning. Loved seeing Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix in Wax, as well as many others.

This is one of the easiest ways to visit these places in SF and they are all very close to each other so it's easy to move around. Just have extra money in case you want to buy anything from the gift shops.

Great trip to Alcatraz. Picked up tickets from Madame Tussauds for all 3 trips. The lady on the desk had given our tickets to someone else in error so the manager had to sort this out which was a bit annoying. We had to be at the boat Terminal 30 mins before the boat leaves. The trip over was fine and the visit was brilliant. So worth a visit. Madame Tussauds took us roughly an hour to round and it was ok and the Dungeon wasn't to scary and took roughly an hour. My daughter preferred this I found it a lot of shouting. Buy the ticket for Alcatraz the other tickets are just a wee extra.

The San Francisco trip was a memorable one filled with history Alcatraz, beauty Napa Valley and culture. I enjoyed all of the excursions. They made the trip worth every penny spent. I only wish I had bought more chocolate from Ghiradelli's to take back home. It was delicious! This city never sleeps. I'm glad we made this a stop on our summer vacation.

I primarily purchased this tour online to tour Alcatraz for the 5th time because all of the other Alcatraz tour outlets were sold out of Alcatraz tickets during the time period we were going to be in the San Francisco area. It was so easy to purchase this tour package online and we were able to enjoy The San Francisco Dungeon as well as Madame Tussauds which we wouldn't have considered doing otherwise.
