Catamaran cruise on San Francisco Bay
Sail away from the city and take in the sights from the water
Don’t just take photos of San Francisco Bay from the waterfront—get out on the water itself with this SF sailing tour. Your experience starts on the Embarcadero, where you’ll hop aboard the 55- or 65-foot (17- or 20-meter) Adventure Cat and set out across the bay.
Take a picture or two of the city skyline and resident sea lions as they become smaller and smaller, and listen to commentary from your captain about the city and other sights that line the water. If you want to stay warm and dry, you can enjoy 360-degree views from the catamaran’s protected interior; if you’re feeling a bit more daring, take a seat on the trampoline nets, where you can soak in the salty ocean air.
Cruise past Alcatraz Island, look up at the towering Golden Gate Bridge and admire the charming small town of Sausalito, just across the bridge. If you like, you can purchase snacks, beer, wine or soft drinks from the onboard bar.
Your tour ends when you return to the marina in San Francisco.

Top notch experience. Great crew. Fun atmosphere. Incredible views. Nice boat. Tasty snacks and refreshing drinks. 10/10. Would definitely do it again!
This is a must do adventure and I cannot imagine a better crew or boat! They all were friendly and professional. They listened to our questions and responded; except the captain who was focused on sailing the boat, as he should be! He was very nice too! The boat was very stable. We saw whales, porpoises, seals, and all kinds of birds! This was well worth the price!
The crew was great from the moment we were greeted at the loading dock. Nothing but smiles and "Welcome Aboards" Once on the water I thought we were in trouble when one of the crew cam bounding across the catamaran towards us but then asked if we wanted our picture taken with a perfect view of the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. Then, a while later he came back and literally corralled us up to the boat bridge and put us in the Captain's chair for a really fun group picture. I live in the Bay Area but my friends are from Nebraska and just loved the experience! Would totally do it again.
Really nice catamaran, first time I sail on one of these, wasn't crowded at all and we all had plenty of room and good viewing spots. Gets windy, but the crew had extra jackets for anyone that needed one.
We had a great day sailing with expert skipper, really sailing not motoring. We had a problem with our reservations being listed on the wrong day. “No problem, come on board; we will work it out.” Come enjoy a full 90 minutes of natural fun.
Absolutely everything went right for us. The wind, the sun, and no fog were exactly the way you'd want them. If you've sailed before, everything was the way you'd want it. If you haven't, this is a great introduction to a couple of hours under canvas. The views are once- in-a- lifetime and the price is great. They're not kidding-- take a jacket... seriously. No joke. The bridge has its own weather system.
The Captain and his crew are Fun-tastic! They care the safety of all passengers on board. My daughter got sea-sick and when Michael found out and saw her, he asked the Captain to sit be the lady Captain. The Captain helped her feel better. Thank you Capt and your crew!
We loved this experience!! The staff was extremely friendly. They were ready to help us be fully engaged by: answering questions, taking pictures, etc. It is obvious that they love their job, and their excitement is contagious. I would highly recommend this to all ages.
I have a great fear of water, and felt safe and happy the whole time.
