Lived in California for 20 years This is the most I saw of San Francisco!!!
Hits the highlights of San Francisco without the driving. Relaxing!!!
However do to traffic, the trip usually lasts2 1/2 - 3 hours
Enjoyed! Kenneth was great! Very nice and kept us all smiling. From Carolina!
Our guide was funny and very entertaining as he showed us the city!
Great way to see the city. Tour very informative and friendly.
San Francisco is now my 2nd favorite city. The tours were great and the drivers perfect and fun.
Great tour but was very confusing to start off with. The instructions said to go to Visitor Center at Pier 39 to redeem our voucher for the first morning tour but office was close. After getting on a Hop On Hop Off bus at Pier 39, we were told we were on the wrong bus and to go to the office at Pier 41. From there, it went well. We got our vouchers redeemed and told to wait at the white curb pickup area for our bus.
Hit a lot of the high points of the city! We only hopped off to thoroughly explore a couple of the stops, but the tour gave us a great idea of what we should come back and see.
It took us a while to work out which of the many buses and trolleys our tickets were for , but everyone we asked was helpful and eventually we did manage to find our stop to embark on the trip.In a hectice city this is the best way to travel around, the drivers narration was detailed and amusing and we had perfect weather to drive across the bridge and back in the open top bus.Great fun.
The most annoyance of this experience was trying to find the Viator office to redeem our tickets. Once the office was found and instructions were provided, the tour was fine.
The tour was well organized and convenient to use. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and brought up many interesting points. This is the way to see SF the cost of parking and the traffic make it worth while.
The speaker system was not good.
We had a hard time hearing anything that our tour guide was saying.
We did enjoy the ride and all the sights
Tour guides were awesome. Not many stops and some were inconvenient to where we wanted to go.
Buses were old and ratty. The microphones and speakers are old and do not work so the guide cannot be heard much of the time. They say buses come every 20 minutes. Average is more like every 35 minutes.
We were impressed with the first tour guide we hopped off and back on again later - love the Golden Gate.
Return trip was female tour guide who insisted on singing to entertain the riders - NOT good we got off at next stop just to change tour guides. 2 days hop on hop off was too much of same thing - one day is our recommendation.

Very bad experience. You phone help did not give us the basic details on the tour company. As the new people in the town, we thought Viator is the company but we're completely wrong. We had only one day to look around and missed our valuable time waiting for the trolley. Also what was told to us over phone was not the actual route for the trolley. Please make sure your helpline has the understanding that the customers are new and has very little knowledge about the town, let alone the stop locations.
the only reason this gets one star is because I can't give it a zero. nuf said
Don't do, way to cold!!! The Trolley needs plastic roll down windows to help with the wind and cold.
the trolley doesn't stop for pictures, it would be better to take the half-day tour bus! Our guide however was good and tried to make our tour pleasant, but we were frozen!
