This was a fun tour. The best fun was really to be in the van itself.

Great tour with a great guide Bob. Saw things in SF we never knew existed, and places you'd never be allowed through to see on a large tour bus including crooked street Lombard Street. We'd recommend doing this at the start of your stay as you get incites into some hidden gems and places to go that you wouldn't get to know about by walking around Fishermans Wharf! Peace n Love

What a great time we had with Bob! He told us all about SanFran and literally showed us every hotspot in town. Would highly recommend this tour over any other tour. You get to see a lot more...

This was the best tour of San Francisco that I was able to join. Well worth every cent. The bus is the genuine real deal, it even battles to start and chugs along, gears grating and clutch slipping up and down those steep San Francisco hills. If you are lucky enough to get the lady we had I am sorry I cant remember her name, she was fabulous. An absolute character. Kept us in stitches, with her stories and comments. She took us off-piste a couple of times .... sorry I am not supposed to tell you thatt, but it was such fun. Seeing places that I have read about and grew up with in the 60s and 70s - hippie and flower power era. I dragged my long suffering 35 year old son with me and he even enjoyed the trip. The highlight for me was going down Lombard Street, where all the other tourists are having to walk, we chugged down in our noisy bus with everyone looking on with big smiles on their faces, green with envy that they had to walk it. The bus follows much the same route as the Hop-on hop-off bus does, but you don't get off and wander around. There are a few places where they do stop and you can stretch your legs, but they are shorts stops. The longest time spent was at the Golden Gate Bridge. So if you are wanting to spend more time in a specific place you will need to go back by other means of transport.

This was a super fun tour, Bob was very friendly and an excellent guide, full of interesting info about the many areas and neighborhoods you'll see during your tour. So fun to be in a 60s VW bus, and it carries 6 people max So book early! Best part is you can go where larger tour buses cannot, including crooked Lombard Street. A fun experience, you'll learn a lot and I highly recommend it!

Had a great time driving around the city in this fun VW Bus. It was a great way to see many parts of SF that I had not seen before. Fun for myself and 17 year old son. Or driver customized his music to the area of town we were in. Would highly recommend.
